For Iceland, where accommodation is expensive, the Dalakot was good value. The location was also perfect for us. We arrived that morning on the ferry from the Faroe Islands, which landed on the east side of Iceland, and after a spectacular 8 hour drive we were very ready for a break. Our room was simple but clean, the staff were friendly, and we had a simple dinner at the adjoining pizzeria. We were in just the right place to proceed the next morning to the Snaefelsness peninsular.

We had a nice room with excellent beds, good WiFi and a sink. There are 2 shared bathrooms, sufficient for the number of rooms. You can enjoy a delicious meal and breakfast in the restaurant. The employees were very friendly.

Location and view from room was good. Dinner on their restaurant was excellent.

Happy staff, you notice it at first sight. Very clean facilities, nice food in the restaurant and breakfast was good. Basic room but very comfortable beds.

The room was clean and spacious. As we were the only guests they upgraded us for a double room with bathroom, which was really lovely. If you eat at restaurant, you get 10% discount, we got burgers and we thought it was spectacular. A really lovely place. Breakfast was nice too, we were the only ones, but it was still on time and plenty of things to offer. My only suggestion would be to offer sugar as well, there were only sweeteners.
