Honestly, it’s hard to say anything negative – the place was exactly like in the photos, maybe even better in real life. Clean, cozy, and just one of those “we check in and don’t want to leave” kind of stays 😄 If we really want to be picky (and now we will be), there are just two small things worth mentioning: – A small table would be really useful. Nothing fancy, just a spot where you can put your laptop if you need to work… or write a brilliant Facebook post while watching TV 😄 – And a friendly warning for guests over 190 cm: the loft means business. Bending is highly recommended, unless you want the stay to be memorable in a slightly painful way 😄 Overall, a fantastic place, full marks, and we’d happily come back anytime! 👍

Nice little apartment based in the best area of Budapest. The staff provides a really good service and they are ready to help you in case you need them. There's also the chance to watch Netflix on a pretty big screen and the building is safe and quiet.

I totally agree with all the other great reviews. Everything was awesome! I don't know who the staff members were, but they were amazing. They answered super fast, and even messaged me on WhatsApp to make sure I understood how to get into the apartment and if we needed help. Even though it was all texts, they were so nice and friendly, and made sure everything was good. Top-notch service! The apartment itself was perfect, super clean, and you could tell everything was really well taken care of, even if the building looked a bit old, the apartment was in excellent shape. Anything we needed was there (even umbrellas and pens). I also noticed that there was some more information about the host's story in the pdf sent and as part of the apartment instructions, it's good and reassuring to know a little bit about the owner.

The apartment was even better than the pictures. Very comfortable, with everything we needed for a great stay in Budapest in a nice neighborhood and building. Attention to detail is exceptional (soap for the washing machine, coffee pods, welcome wine bottle, a booklet with recommendations in the city, cooking utensils, really anything you might need). The pinball machine was a really fun bonus. When it stopped working they tried to fix it and when that didn't work they even got us tickets to the pinball museum in town, which was super nice. The whole stay really made us happy. We'll definitely choose Happy Home again when visiting Budapest.

I had a truly wonderful stay over the weekend! The managers were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and considerate, going above and beyond to make our visit comfortable. During our stay, the washing machine door unfortunately broke, but they immediately covered the cost themselves without hesitation. Not only that, but while we were out, they kindly put our washed clothes on the dryer for us – such a thoughtful gesture that really made a difference. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded all expectations, and they never once asked for anything in return. It’s rare to come across hosts who genuinely care this much about their guests’ comfort. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a welcoming, hassle-free, and heartwarming experience.

The apartment was beautifully furnished, spacious, clean and modern with a cool vibe. The location was excellent and within walking distance of most things in Pest. If I ever come back to Budapest, I would stay there again.

Everything was perfect! About the Hosts: I accidentally left my money on the table and didn’t even realize it until I received a call from the host company. They not only informed me but also kept the money safe at their office and returned it to me. The hosts were incredibly polite, attentive, and trustworthy. Cleanliness: Exceptional! Every detail was spotless, which was especially important to me as I’m very particular about cleanliness. House and Facilities: The property was equipped with everything you could possibly need, and everything worked flawlessly. The neighborhood was peaceful, with no loud noises to disturb the stay. Location: Absolutely ideal! Most places were within a 10–15 minute walk, including cafes, stores, and other conveniences. They also provided a small, detailed guideline with photos to make accessing the house comfortable. Additionally, I received a lovely booklet with general information, house rules, and recommendations for popular locations, attractions, coffee shops, and more. It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly enhanced the experience! When I visit Budapest again, I will definitely book a place with them! Highly recommend!

We loved everything! The attention to detail was superb. We stayed for 4 nights in the Red apartment and we loved it. They have a Netflix account so you don't have to log in with your own, they have soap for the dishwasher and washing machine, coffee capsules, and even basic things for you to cook, such as oil, salt, and pepper. They let us store our bags in their office and the staff there were absolutely amazing, they even offered us an Uber to the apartment because it was so hot and we were knackered from our tip! Absolute stars! The welcome pack you get by email is also super helpful, with restaurant tips and things to do!

A perfect place in the heart of the city, close to main attractions and well connected by public transportation. Quiet building, cozy appartment, with everything you need. Great communication with the host. Last but not least, the pinball machine & quitar were super cool.

Good apartment in a house with an inner courtyard. Interior is colourful and attractive - there are a lot of small details which create the whole concept. Everything needed is available, including a washing machine and a dishwasher. Pinball machine is a nice thing when you want to chill and have some fun in the evening. There was also a guitar and keyboard - which could be a bonus for people who do play.
