“Home from home”

This amazing property is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, with everything you could think of. It has a huge lounge, bedroom, two toilets, a lovely bath and shower. It is within easy reach of several tram routes - we bought a 72 hour ticket and couldn't be happier with how easy it was to get around Budapest. Towards the big church there is a shopping area with a supermarket which is convenient for cooking at home. The area seems safe and quiet. We especially loved the guide books provided by our lovely host. We used them to find some off the beaten path sights. Thank you for a lovely stay!

“Stylish appartement”

Very nice and stylish appartement. Well equipped and in a good location. Everything was clean. Near the tram station.

“Super cozy, affordable and big apartment, with nice owners.”

The apartment was very nice, cozy and huge! It was very well furnished, also with a lot nice decorations. We felt like at home. It was heated well, so it was warm inside. The area felt safe and peaceful, we left the car on the street, next to rhe building and there was plenty of empty parking spots, so the parking is not a problem. The owners are really super friendly, responsive and ready to help. There is a close bus and tram stop, which takes you to the city center or Buda’s siteseeing places.

“Great place , great hosts lovely city”

Lovely place nice quiet part of the city but lovely neighbourhood close to anything you would like cafe, food groceries and right beside transport into city and all tourist attractions. Lazlo was very nice and had a lovely greeting when we arrived, and attention to detail greatly appreciated

Very nice, clean and comfortable apartment. Landlord was helpful with questions about city transport, parking, shopping, etc. He allowed us later check out due a sport match on day of departure.

“Super cozy apartment for the whole family”

It is the best apartment I have experienced for 10+ years of using Booking.com services. Extremely cozy, over equipped with everything necessary, spacious, very authentic, having the "spirit" of old Budapest within it - and super-host. No doubt I will come back!

The apartment was very spacious, comfortable, clean and fully equipped. We were two colleagues travelling for work and we enjoyed having separate spaces to sleep and even two separate bathrooms (a full bathroom and a WC). The location was not very central but the public transportation is very frequent and you can get anywhere very quickly. Our host was very kind and even let us check out later without extra charge because we had an evening flight. We would definitely stay there again.

Located few km from the city center in the quiet and beautiful neighbourhood, Bleakhouse is a true gem.The apartment offers not just a place to sleep, but also insights into owner's family history and history of Budapest; It's like a small museum.I wouldn't even be disappointed if I had to spent all my time in Budapest in this beautiful place.Laszlo and Alex were super polite and helpful even we we late for a couple of hours at arrival. By far the best apartment I've ever booked, and needles to say, I'll come again !

“Beautifully decorated Budapest Apartment!”

Very beautiful apartment, we loved our stay. The hosts were great too.

My hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The flat is very well equipped and pleasant. It is not located in the city centre (Pest) but it is very well served by public transport (tram and bus) at 3 mns walking distance and the shops are at 5 mns walking distance. On my next trip to Budapest I will definitely use this flat again. I can only recommend it.

“Amazing experience in a cozy and clean apartment”

Everything was amazing! This apartment is a dream! There are complimentary water bottles in the fridge, coffee and tea. The whole apartment is cozy, with comfy armchairs and sofas. There are children toys and crayons available, plus the big billiard table. It is in a very good area of Buda, close to public transport stations, good pastries and the amazing Daubner confectionery.

“Fantastic stylish fully equipped apartment in great location”

The apartment is very stylish, modern, and comfortable with a very special atmosphere. It is ground floor located, fully equipped, and spacious for a family with 3 kids. Everything is like in the pictures. Great quiet location with an easy connection to the city center by trams 19,41. Just buy 24 hours travel pass. 5 minutes from there is an old roman Arena. We can recommend nearby in walking distance: Daubner Confectionery, Buda Gourmet Bistro, Daisuke Café & Wine, Sushi, etc. Our hosts, Alexandra and Lazslo, are very kind people. Very, very friendly and welcoming. We liked the apartment very much. Very good value for the money. Full recommendation to everybody.

The host is very kind. The place is a masterpiece, very clean and it has everything you need. You have a billiard table and all sort of games you can play if it rains outside. 5 minutes from the accommodation there is an old roman Arena.
