“Magnificent”

Our stay here during our Budapest road trip was simply perfect. The location is unbelievable: when they say “city center”, they really mean it. The apartment is in the Buda side, the quieter and more elegant area of the city, literally behind the Fisherman’s Bastion, only 3–5 minutes walking uphill. Despite being in the center, it is extremely quiet and peaceful. The apartment was spotless and smelled amazing as soon as we entered. Pictures honestly do not do it justice — in real life it is much more beautiful, with a very authentic Eastern European 80s/90s charm, beautiful carpets, and a warm atmosphere. Towels and bed linens were also perfectly clean and fresh. A huge thank you to Lajos for his kindness and help with parking our rental car. Parking in Buda can easily cost more than €20 per day, and thanks to him we avoided paying those crazy prices. He was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was included and excellent, with a lot of sweet and savory options even when we arrived late. The breakfast area was always super clean, and we loved the little balcony with a view of the Parliament. Also, being able to grab coffee or tea there anytime during the day or night was a very nice touch. Special thanks also to Gabor, who was always kind, friendly, and lovely to chat with in the morning. If you are staying in Budapest, this place is absolutely perfect and we would 100% stay here again.

“Our favourite stay in Budapest”

We stayed at Bellevue in 2013, and were pleased to be able to return. It is in a quiet location at the foot of Castle Hill, with good transport connections. Our family room was very large and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was generous, fresh and tasty, and there are balcony tables for eating in good weather. But best of all was the engaging manager, Gabor, who is a font of knowledge.

We loved the spacious room with balcony and local Hungarian charm, the location on Buda Hill and the friendliness of owner and staff. Very reasonably priced. Even though we arrived early, we were warmly welcomed and made comfortable. It was fun breakfasting with other guests from all corners of the world in the cosy kitchen, to which we had access throughout the day for tea/ coffee. Gabor was very helpful with local knowledge.

The close proximity to Fisherman's Bastain its on your doorstep..The room was spacious with a generous balcony. The host was very helpful and spoke very good English.

The location is very good, quite peaceful near the Fisherman Bastion, and my room has a view of the parliament. The owner is very kind and always available in case of need.

“Freindly Receptionist (Gabor), Great Location and Pretty Views of the Parliament”

Gabor the Receptionist was very friendly and great to talk to over breakfast, I enjoyed his recommendations on Budapest and a little history about the country. The location is great with it only being a short walk to the Castle District, Fisherman’s Bastion and the King Matthias Church, I stayed on the top floor which also has lovely views of the Hungarian Parliament building

The Capitol at night through the room is so beautiful, and the surroundings are very quiet at night. The shopkeeper is very warm and thoughtful. The breakfast is very rich, and everything is very satisfactory.

101% very satisfied, room is clean.the owner are very approachable and also their staff..accessible to the tourist spot...and we book again for this coming New Year with my other colleagues in works and expecting we are all 10-15 persons..

“Short Budapest stay”

Gabriel was lovely and very helpful. The balcony is a bonus for the room. Also you can eat breakfast on a balcony, but get there early. Breakfast was very good. The location was good, too. Not too far from buses or trams. Visit Bem (restaurant) about 15 mins walk. It is by the river. It is in a basement but serves delicious food, especially the beef goulash with dumplings.

The co-owner was extremely helpful in explaining where to go to: get a fair deal currency wise, how to use and to buy public transport tickets at an actual office, local authentic places to eat etc. He was very informative and gave up quite a bit of time explaining things in general. Kitchen area was available 24/7 to use its facilities. Rooms comfortable and B&B position excellent for visiting the Castle Hill area. Highly recommend it. Price was very good too.

“Home away from home”

The property was great and location, breakfast and cleanliness could not be faulted. What sets this place apart is the wonderful hosts. When we arrived my wife was extremely ill. Lagos thank you from both of us for your kind help care and empathy. Gabor also thank you for your help and support and answering our many questions.
