This colourful beachfront hotel is located in Bucerias, 20 minutes’ drive from Puerto Vallarta. It offers large gardens with 5 pools, as well as free water sports equipment rental. The air-conditioned rooms at the Royal Decameron Puerto Vallarta feature colonial-inspired design and bright colours. Each one comes with a TV and a private balcony with ocean or garden views. The Royal Decameron has 7 restaurants, ranging from Japanese food to Italian food. A snack bar is also on site. The hotel offers scuba diving lessons in the pool, and you can hire non-motorised water sports equipment for free. There are also nightly shows, as well as children’s activity programme. The hotel is about 3 minutes' drive from the Flamingos Golf Club and 20 minutes' drive from Puerto Vallarta International Airport. Mezcales city centre is 6 km away.

Everything was absolutely amazing! We were pleasantly surprised because, after reading some reviews, we expected things to be much worse. In reality, this place exceeded all our expectations. The resort is superb! The food is incredibly delicious and perfectly clean—you can see they are constantly cleaning and washing everything. The grounds are beautiful and very spacious. Regarding the A La Carte restaurants: many people write that it's hard to get a table, but that’s not true at all. It is very easy to book a reservation online through the app without standing in lines. The check-in process was smooth and fast. We requested a room in Building 1 with a frontal sea view and a specific floor before our arrival, and the staff gave us exactly what we asked for. While the hotel itself has a bit of a vintage feel and is slightly "tired" in terms of age, everything inside the rooms is in great condition. Most importantly, the mattresses are absolutely new and very comfortable! Separately, I would like to mention the excellent value for money — the service is absolutely great for this price point.

“We feel for the price the premises and all inclusive features were fine”
We have been to the DeCameron many times in the past. We're always amazed at how busy it is. The food is good with eggs, toast and fruit in the morning which is what we eat. Likewise we pick and choose at lunch and can generally find food we enjoy. We had decided we would go out for dinner however since there are many restaurants nearby.

All staff was excelent and always ready and willing to assist it is an older resort and routine maintenance is done on a regular basis to keep it in good condition food was always good grounds kept in beautiful condition

We were moved to the adult section of the resort when I complained about the noise, early in the morning, on our second day there. The front desk staff were very helpful and courteous.

There was a very rude girl working at the towel counter..she had glasses and a long braid in her hair and she was rude to us more than once

“Adequate”
The pools were well maintained and not overcrowded. The bars offered a good selection of drinks and had ingredients on hand to make whatever we ordered even when not on the menu. Rooms were in adequate condition - nothing fancy, but we were expecting that. We were on the top floor of Block 4 near the end of the U, so our view was lovely.

Food and staff were great. Lots of choice for restaurants, pools and bars. Everything was clean and tidy. The paths and grounds were lovely to walk around. Enough variety that a longer stay would not get monotonous. We were in the adults only area so we found it relaxing as we were away from the main area with the loudspeaker.

The resort itself was great. The food was good with lots of different places to eat. There were 5 complexes and each had at least 1 of each restaurant, bar, and pool. The views from the balcony had a view of the ocean, pool, and garden. The ckeaning .ady on our floor was great. I kept our room clean but she provided anything I needed from water to bedding. It was a relaxing vacation.
