“A great zen place to stay for a visit to Inhotin”

We stayed in a bungalow with terrace. The 2 bungalows with 4 rooms are located in a beautiful big garden with forest all around. Breakfast is a great Mineiro selection. The drive to Brumadhino town to visit restaurants taxes 10 minutes and costs about 3-8 US$ by taxi. The drive to Inhotin gallery is about 10 minutes. Check with hotel reception to book a taxi. A full visit in Inhotin takes at least 2 days, better three full days.

It's a beautiful location if you want to be out of the way, set amidst a forest almost, beyond the regular city

“One overnight visiting Inhotim”

Simple but very clean, kind employees and service very attentive to details (umbrella and mosquitos repellente for guests, café da tarde,....). Very convenient for visiting Inhotim. Light soup dinner served at the hotel was good and enough for us.

The pousada is charming and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast and thet also offer coffee, cake and fruits in the afternoon. Staff is very kind and and attentive.

This is a relatively small establishment run by a pair of very nice, young local people who are working very hard and relatively successfully to create a great place to stay. They also did a great job in making arrangements for me to use a reliable, reasonably-priced taxi both to and from local destinations and to Belo Horizonte, about 2 hours away. The room and property were pretty and generally very comfortable, and the breakfast and soups available for supper were very good. The hotel location was just minutes away from the Inhotim art park, which was the main attraction for me.

“Warmly welcoming”

Super kind staff. We arrived after kitchen closing time and they still prepared us a full meal. Breakfast was also lovely. Beautiful setting with lush grounds. Wonderful views of the stars by night and the surrounding valleys by day.

The inn was so nice, Giovani did everything he could to make the guests at home. Breakfast was delicious, there were optional meals to eat at night, we had Netflix in our room. I would recommend Pousada Altavista to anyone who goes to Inhotim.
