Lovely well appointed ‘oasis’ just a short walk from the heart of Bruges. Clean,comfy and stylish with all things needed for a homely stay including a delicious breakfast delivered each morning. Very peaceful area, the chance to park our car and leave it secure on site most welcome. Nice to meet the host, good arrival instructions and directions with a wealth of local info provided.

The hostess is a gem. Such a nice lady. The breakfast is awesome. Location perfect. The house smells very good, has an enormous space just for us. Just perfect

Maryke are host was simply outstanding. Good communications prior to the visit and the perfect host throughout. Maryke is a font of all knownledge. On arrival an excellent explanation by our host. The fridge was full of meats, cheeses and water. The breakfast delivered every day was exceptional. This is a gem of a location, if you are visiting bruges. This is one of the best I have ever visited. You will not be disappointed

“Bruges' finest”

Very beautiful, serene, creative decor. Spacious and comfortable. Great location: peaceful, yet no more than a few minutes from major museums; the centre only a short, lovely walk away. Fab breakfast, with all sorts of possibilities available and delightful home-made treats. Huge bed. Thoughtful, informative, helpful landlady, who made efforts to accommodate our dietary/health needs and allowed us to leave our luggage past the already generous check-out time. Even the coffee table books were superb. I doubt you could do better in the whole of Bruges.

It’s a haven of tranquility and style, with the very warmest of welcomes from Maryke who is such a charming and kind host. We felt completely cared for and spoiled, and the breakfast delivery and delicacies were so special and memorable. We would love to return one day to this truly unique and special place!

Everything about the property was wonderful. The location, the facilities withing the apartment, and the cleanliness. the host was absolutely wonderful and friendly, and the breakfast she provided was nothing less than exceptional.

This is much more than a B&B, it's an oasis in the centre of Brugge. Maryke was an excellent host; she offered recommendations for activities. Each morning, she brought fresh bread, fruit salad, yoghurt, juice, and danishes to go along with the cheese, meat, and eggs already available.

The location and the accommodations were excellent. Parked the vehicle in the covered garage and walked everywhere we wanted to go visit. Maryke the owner/host was exceptional in her customer service and welcoming skills. She was attentive to our needs and was always available if we needed her. The breakfast servings brought to our table each day were homemade, fresh and tasted fantastic. A pleasure to visit and stay at the Herring Residence. My spouse and I will hopefully return again in the future. Thank you Maryke.. Well done.

The interior design has an amazingly peaceful and warm atmosphere. It’s even more beautiful in real than in the pictures. Also clean and functional. The hostess is very attentive and in the mornings she left high quality food at the door in a basket.

Great location and amazing accommodation in the center of town. Lovely host and the breakfasts were incredible. We would rate it higher if we could.

Everything was superb! The cottage was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The homemade cake&jams, juices, fruit pots, breads and pastries were spectacular. Location was ideal, so quiet but in walking distance to everything. Would highly recommend. It was an amazing stay with an exceptional host.

The Herring's Residence is a beautifully renovated cottage. It was impeccably clean, comfortable, quiet and within easy walking distance to all Bruges has to offer. The breakfast supplies were absolutely superb. Fresh bread, fruit, fruit juice and pastries were supplied every morning along with eggs, a selection of cheeses, meats, home made preserves & yoghurt. We absolutely loved our stay here.

“Absolute paradise of a b&b in the very centre of the town”

Our expectations were exceeded by orders of magnitude. The house is in the very center, but in a side street, which is very quite even in the touristic rush hours. Should that be not enough, the house is in the backyard, which is just silent. Maryke the landlady, is like from the fairy tale, really a nice person in every aspect. Concerning food: you get full fridge of selected cheeses, ham, homemade jams, eggs etc. Every morning you get a basket of fresh bread, pastry, juice and some surprise. The house (yes, you get the whole 3 story house just for yourself) is a historic one but very tastefully restored and equipped.
