Hotel Dukes' Academie, part of the prestigous Dukes' Hotel Collection, is located less than 100 metres from the famous Minnewater in a scenic and peaceful area of Bruges. The location was fantastic, it is in the middle of the city centre, yet in a quiet little street. Everything is within an easy reach. The breakfast was delicious, there was a wide variety of food to choose from.

“A lovely hotel in a fairy tale city...”
Absolutely superb hotel. Right from the moment we checked in - early - until we checked out 2 days later, everything was great. Friendly, helpful staff. A lovely, well appointed large room with a little balcony overlooking the terrace bar below. Breakfast buffet was one of the best we have come across on our many travels. And as for the location - it simply couldn't be better.

“Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. Totally recommended.”
The lobby is wonderful and with beautiful design. You just want to sit there and sip your coctail. The staff is beyond helpful and nice. The service is incredible and the hotel is very very very clean.

“Relaxing stay in a top location!”
Beautiful hotel in a quiet spot but very near to main square in Bruges. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was lovely and clean with comfy beds and a spotless bathroom. The air con was a lifesaver in the May heatwave! Breakfast was well organised and there was lots of choice. We will definitely stay again - highly recommend.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Room was spacious,very comfortable bed with a brilliant powerful shower.Fridge and safe provided and lovely to have water provided every day. Breakfast was fantastic with almost anything you could wish for.Special mention for the great selection of fresh fruit and different types of milk. Hotel also is in a central location but is still quiet at night and has a lovely courtyard to sit and relax. In essence we would love to return and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

It‘s a very elegant hotel in the historical part of Brugge. We liked very tasty breakfast with plenty of choices (delicious scrambled eggs!) and extremely comfortable beds, we were however quite confused on our arrival because of the instructions we received from the hotel. Shortly before check in day we have received very precise instructions how to get to the hotel (which is located in the pedestrian area of Brugge) and enter the underground garage. Very clear and precise and we followed it strictly but were not able to make the last 150 m, we were practically stopped by some exited horse carriage „drivers“ who forbidden us to drive further even if we actually just followed the precise description we got from hotel. It would be funny if it was not so frustrating. After long discussions with these local men and with the reception of the hotel which we reached by foot it turned out that the description we received from the hotel was not valid on this particular day because the construction works (that caused this route change) were over so we had to take the usual route to the hotel. It took us like 40 minutes to clarify it all and take the other route and finally enter the garage. It quite spoiled our first impression of Brugge what was very pity. We hope other hotel guests will receive actual route recommendations to avoid such unpleasant situations.

Struggling to find fault with this hotel, everything was faultless, the food was exceptional, the staff were brilliant, the location was spot on. Comfortable beds-would not hesitate to stay here again.

On Saturday the weather was 30 degrees and when we came back to our room the cleaners had closed the curtains and put on the Aircon which was very thoughtful
