Location was a lovely 30 min stroll into the centre. Ginette is an amazing host, nothing too much trouble and very attentive. the room was huge and incredibly clean and as for the breakfasts, we actually didn't bother or need to eat later in the day, so tasty and so much!

It was truly one of the best hotelstays of our life. As you might be thinking from the pictures, it sports a very destinct, some might say peculiar vibe, and that was what sold me when booking the trip. But upon arrival you realize just to what extend the sense of detail goes - all the little decorations, the beautiful house itself, the (very comfy) bed and the whimsical nature of the rooms ties everything together to a fantastic experience. And thats all without even mentioning Ginette, the owner and proprietor. An incredibly kind lady who likes to make sure your experience in Brugges is as good as it can be, and vooks up the most amazing breakfasts to boot. 5/5 stars, would recommend anyone going there

Ginette was so friendly and helpful and breakfast was beautifully presented and plentiful. Bed was large and comfortable and our room had everything we needed for our one night stopover.

Breakfast was exceptional, different each day, made with love and attention. We hope to return!

The property was beautiful and so charming. Ginette was a lovely host very friendly and helpful. The room was huge and so ornate with lovely period furniture. Breakfast was lovely but so filling and Ginette also gave us food bags to take away what we didn’t eat to have for lunch. Took about 30 mins to walk into the city along a canal.

The welcome drink was a pleasant surprise. The whole experience was great…lovely house, lovely host, and best of all the breakfast. The man cave is a cosy space where one can enjoy watching TV in front of a fireplace.

Ginette was ultra friendly. We were sat down when we arrived with a free drink and she went over all the attractions and how we can travel into the centre. 30 minutes walk or a choice of 2 buses at €3. The breakfast is huge and Ginette tends to your every need. I have never felt more looked after on holiday as I did here.

It was very comfortable and cute place not far from the city centre (27-30 min walk, Brugges is amazing so walking was fun experience. Canals, medieval buildings,,,) Ginette welcomed us warmly with hot tea and coockies. She gave us a map of Brugge and also recommended us some good places to go. The room had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing and all hand made !! Definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to stay in Brugge.

“Heartwarming experience”

Everything was INCREDIBLE! The house is so charming, very classic and big, looks like out of a fairytale. The bed was very very comfortable. We had our own bathroom within the room, which was great. It was clean and well maintained. On the bed, we were received with some delicious pieces of chocolate and the host joined us for some beer and tea with cookies on the house! We got the chance to talk to her for a bit about our lives, our travels... She is really charming so it was a great moment to share. We also got the chance to ask her about the transportation and she answered our questions, even provided a city map with directions. Turns out, the house is just 10 minutes away from the city center and there are two buses that leave you there. Both of them are 5-7 minutes walking distance. There's also one bus that leaves you on the bus/train station. The neighborhood is residential, very quiet, safe, and beautiful. There are a few shops around, even an Italian restaurant. Cherry on top: the breakfast. We were leaving very early, before 6 a.m so we just assumed we would miss it. But no, our lovely host decided we couldn't leave without eating so she waited for us downstairs with a gorgeous roses bag, packed with sandwiches, orange juice, Babybels, fruit, disposable cutlery, napkins, and some other snacks. It was so thoughtful (and I'm very sensitive, to be honest) that it brought me to tears.
