“Stay here, you will not regret it”
The location of the B&B is absolutely perfect. It is a short walk to the square, and all the restaurants and canal. You can also see the canal from the room. The property itself is full of history and the interior of the property is simply fantastic. A lot of time and effort (and money) has gone into making the B&B a fantastic home from home, and the bath tub is phenomenal!! Bert is a superb host who caters for your every need. His breakfast is sublime and he is friendly and kind with good communication!

“The best B&B in the world”
Absolutely everything was exceptional. The level of thoughtfulness is just lovely. So many details, from the pre-check in welcome, the fireplaces, the lounge, the honesty bar, the impeccably served and incredibly generous breakfast. I’ve stayed in a lot of places that promise a lot, but B&B Barabas provided it all. It’s so clear that everything is done with pride and love by people who really care about what they are doing. Simply the best place I’ve ever stayed in.

“Amazing place”
An incredible atmosphere in a 15th-century house, with a very convenient location for exploring the city. The breakfasts and hospitality of Bert and Hilde are simply wonderful - delicious, home-style, prepared with love and genuine care. The atmosphere of the hall and breakfast room makes you feel as if you’ve truly stepped into a small palace. One small note: if you arrive by car, pay close attention to the traffic signs, as driving directly up to the house may result in a fine. The same applies to taxis - our taxi picked us up not directly from the entrance, but from Hoogstraat.

“A lovely B&B in a magical city”
The accommodation was fine. The location was great and the breakfast especially good. The apartment was up 24 steep stairs which was difficult with luggage.
