The monastery "cell" itself was very basic (but clean and comfortable). What made this stay so memorable was the beautifully restored monastery itself. The accommodation is in a wing of the monastery, along a cavernous corridor.

Exceptional stay as usual. Love coming back! Unique atmosphere, great location "at the end of the world", beautiful architecture and nature around. Excellent cafe and restaurant at the place worth visiting too.

“Uni reunion at monastery”
Incredible genius loci - the monsters is beautiful and sleeping in the former cells brings a unique feeling. You even get the gate keys for the evening and it’s a great experience to open it in the dark, meeting no one in the yard and climbing up the old stairs. The accommodation is clean and renovated.
