This family-run guest house is set in the health resort of Trusetal, in the heart of the Thuringian Forest. Pension Carmen offers café and a beer garden. Rooms at Café & Pension Carmen are traditionally furnished with wooden interiors. All include a seating area with satellite TV as well as a private bathroom with shower. Some rooms have a balcony with mountain views. A breakfast buffet is provided every morning. Guests can enjoy regional Thuringian specialities and homemade cakes in the rustic-style conservatory restaurant or on the terrace. The guest house is 2.5 km from the Trusetal Waterfall and an ideal base for exploring the Rennsteig hiking trail. On-site parking is free. The A4 and A71 motorways can both be reached within 20 minutes.
