This hotel is in the perfect location for exploring the southern part of the Westfjords. Not only that, the food's excellent, the rooms super-comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. And there's a roadside hot spring, right by the beach, only 5 minutes down the road!

Handy location near beautiful hiking spots. Nice restaurant (overpriced but it's the case everywhere in the area and this is the only restaurant available for quite a big stretch so it's expected). The burger is drowned in cheese sauce which I thought was interesting. The fish and chips are okay (better things on the menu). Nice hot chocolate. The breakfast was good for a hotel in the WF (chia seed pudding was perfect!). The staff is friendly though they are always super busy (handling the restaurant, the cleaning, the reception). I was surprised by the size of the Twin Room. It was super cosy and you do have to walk sideways if you want to access the bed from the side instead of the bottom but the view to the mountains is great and there's space for two small carry-ons plus backpacks. Probably not enough space for big suitcases so I get the complaints. Bed was super comfy and though the acoustics can be a bit weird, we slept great (but we had a room in a corner so that probably helped). Overall, it was a relaxing stay and we'd stay here again.

Clean, warm, comfortable. Beautiful location Little else available in the area. Restaurant on site. Close to geothermal pool. Helpful staff, made us up a packed breakfast as we were leaving early in the morning.

“Good hotel for exploring the Westfjords”
Spacious room with two small windows for fresh air. Towel warmer in the bathroom. Comfy beds. Good black-out curtains. Good breakfast buffet. Friendly, helpful staff. We were allowed to keep our perishables in their fridge for the two days that we were staying with them. Hotel provides bath robes for visiting the two hot tubs nearby. One small free natural hot tub, within 8 minutes walk. The second place 20 minutes away, you have to pay for, but is larger. Plenty of parking. Petrol station and free manual car wash on the premises.

“Great choice to explore this part of the island”
Location next to Hot Spring, checking was fast (even though the restaurant was busy), room was spacious. Bed was amazing as well as pillows. There is a gas station next to it. It could have not been better.
