Overview
La Truffe Noir is situated in the city centre of Brive, between Limousin, Quercy and Périgord. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi internet access. “One of the most suprising and enjoyable short stays I have ever had in this region.”
The location was so central that I walked from the train to the hotel with 2 cases. Visually the hotel was beautiful having undergone a recent extensive renovation. The room though not large, had everything that is needed and again was clean, clean, clean. the bed was firm, the linen luxurious and air con worked well. The breakfast was very well provided with hot and cold food all at a most reasonable cost. Ms. Sonam - the welcomer was most wonderful, and Hubert to Night Manager was very efficient and helpful. “A warm calm oasis.”
I was welcomed warmly on a really cold day by a lovely receptionist. I had a hard drive getting to the hotel, snow and ice under foot, so I really appreciated the warmth of my welcome. The room was lovely, warm and comfortable.

“A wonderful start to our holiday.”
From the moment we arrived, Sanom, the receptionist, couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The hotel is lovely and central and near the old town with shops and restaurants but we enjoyed a delicious dinner in the hotel's restaurant. We had a great stay at the Hotel le Truffe Noire - thank you!
