Beautiful property set in stunning countryside. Facilities were excellent. Enormous bedroom with beautiful views. We even had a sauna in our bathroom. The pool was a few minutes walk from our room.

“Château as family home in beautiful countryside”
So enjoyed staying in this family home / fashion atelier ...full of intriguing artefacts...worthy paintings...collections...and atmosphere. It all felt very real because it is. This couple also does a great job of keeping their chambre d'hote up to scratch. Everything was old/ vintage ( ah!! except the fabulous new sauna in our bathroom) but impeccable ...proper, clean and well kept. Great linen towels. They have 2 boisterous dogs who seem to have a lot of love for humans even though both are rescue animals. If you are an animal lover, these dogs will enchant you ...if not Adèle and Johannes who are conscientious hosts, will keep them away from you. The house is very large and the grounds extensive. Swimming pool fabulous in the heat...view across miles of French hills and farmland remarkable. Good breakfasts, including eggs, should you wish... and lingonberry jam ( homemade by Johhannes' Swedish mother) should you wish.
