Great hotel, excellent value and comfy rooms. Couldn't eat in the restaurant due to a wedding but amazing restaurant/bar across the square. Briey is a lovely little town and great place to stop over or stay longer and explore the surroundings.

“Comfortable room; excellent restaurant”
We stopped at Hotel Aster for one night on our trip between Calais and Alsace. Our room was attractive, functional and clean. The bed was comfortable and the location in the town of Briey was quiet, so we had a good night’s sleep. Breakfast included a variety of both cold and hot items. The highlight of our stay was dinner, which was excellent, and there was entertainment that night in the restaurant in the form of a “crooner” singing American and European songs from the 1950s and 1960s. The lady on the reception desk spoke excellent English and was very helpful. We would certainly stay at Hotel Aster again!

“Great location & Comfy Rooms”
Great location with secure parking. The updated rooms are really comfortable with a good finish. perfect location for exploring Briey and the surroundings, or an overnight stay to/from the Shuttle. Restaurant and bar on site with lovely grounds for alfresco dining.

Beautiful location, quiet and cozy beds. The property was very clean and the food of the restaurant is excellent. Didn’t got a chance to explore nearby areas because of our shot overnight stay and journey further ahead. The staff was very kind and helpful.
