My room had a balcony so Brienz Lake view from the balcony was so relaxing and marvellous. I loved to stay 3 days in Hotel. Breakfast, cleaning, room service, quiet, staff was so helpful and easy to approachable from Brienz Train station. I would suggest everyone who are going to explore Brienz, Lautterbrunnen, Grindelwald please come and stay this hotel, enjoy the nature, lake views and Brienz town Surroundings. Overall my stay in that hotel was Awesome and I really impressed. Thanks

I absolutely loved the breakfast—healthy, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. The staff were all incredibly kind, polite, respectful, and helpful. Yesterday, since I had to check out early and wouldn’t have time for breakfast, they even prepared my meal the night before so I could take it with me and enjoy it on the train. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot. Every member of the team—from the cleaners to the food servers and front desk and facility manager—was consistently friendly and accommodating. They replaced my towels daily, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel’s location is fantastic: just steps away from the train station, with a stunning lake view in front and breathtaking mountains in the back. If I ever return to Switzerland, I’ll definitely choose to stay there again.

Pros: The hotel offers great value for the money. The rooms are basic, but we knew that going in. Because they are basic, they are an affordable option in a not very affordable location. There are shared bathrooms down the hall, but it wasn't a problem because the toilets are in a separate room from the shower, and we had a sink with a mirror in the room, and a nearby electrical outlet making it easy to use a hair dryer or curling iron. The bed was comfortable, there were a good amount of electrical outlets in the room and it was very quiet. The included breakfast, in the restaurant downstairs, was fantastic, with lots of options! The seating area outside and the view of the lake were nice. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the train station, the ferry dock and the little grocery store. There is also a tourist information center near the train station that will store bags for free (at your own risk).
