Overview
Schönegg and Spycher are 2 B&B houses located in the heart of Brienz. The two buildings are right next to each other and offer a view of Lake Brienz. Most rooms look out towards the Giessbach Falls, Brienz, Interlaken and Iseltwald. Some rooms offer a private bathroom and a seating area. Brienz town centre is just a 5-minute walk from the accommodation. Shops, restaurants, the lake pier and cafes can be visited there. The property has a garden with a terrace and barbecue facilities. Brienz Lake and the Rothorn Kulm funicular train are both 250 around metres away. Brienz Train Station is 300 metres away and provides good connections to Interlaken and Luzern.

“Lovely relaxing place with a view”

“Lovely place in an idyllic location with potential to be amazing.”
Absolutely loved the location. So idyllic. We stayed in the studio in the Spycher which comes with a kitchenette and seating area. It also has a covered patio area with table and chairs, great for relaxing and watching the steam train go by even on a rainy day. Lovely continental breakfast included.

“Lovely, cute, alpine B&B with a stunning view.”
Breakfast was excellent. The rooms are cute and quiet. The shared bathroom is clean with an excellent shower. The living room area with coffee and other supplies was really good. The WiFi was strong enough. Fantastic view from our room. Self-check-in couldn’t have been easier. Excellent, responsive communication.

“Beautiful B&B we had a perfect stay would visit again”
Location is amazing, beautiful views and lovely garden to relax in. It’s so close to the train station and lake and a few nice restaurants nearby. Bedroom and facilities were spotless, we had a shared bathroom which we were slightly worried about but it was absolutely fine! Especially as we would shower in the evenings so never had to wait to use it. Breakfast was great, lots of options and was always ready at 7:30 with fresh bread and pastries every day.

“Magical”
We felt like we were in an enchanted fairy-tale chalet. The location is excellent, the train passes right in front, and it’s magical to sit on the porch and watch. The village is charming; I want to come back soon. I loved it so much.
