“Didn't meet our expectations”

Photos and description did not match what we believe we'd booked. Within 5 mins of arrival, another couple arrived for the same booking! We sorted this ourselves and immediately booked alternative accommodation. This accomodation is not suitable for young families. Air conditioning was not adequate and we had a single electric fan. This accommodation is suitable for people travelling and wishing to stay for 1 night, not for a holiday. Noise/sound levels were also a problem from floors above and below the apartment, because the floors are wooden boards. This building is a converted mill house and has retained some of its original features. Nice cafe opposite the mill house, with great pizza, but this was the only cafe in Brienno that we found.

A beautiful room with a stunning lake view and plenty of space. The kitchen was also very nice to have and made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, the apartment had a really relaxing atmosphere.

Really lovely apartment with a balcony and stunning views of the lake, right opposite the ferry landing to Nesso. We loved Brienno, it's much quieter than lots of the other towns with little traffic but there was still enough going on with the fab pizza restaurant and the bar down by the swimming spot. Customer service was also excellent and they helped us extend our stay even though that meant staying in a different apartment and rebooking.

Very spacious, and the view from the Apartment is very nice, just across the street from one good pizzeria and walking distance to a nice lakeside lounge/ restaurant.

The view from the living room was great, as it overlooked the lake especially with the balcony.

Stunning view over lake Como. Apartment was clean and well appointed. Easy to get access. Good food options in the village. Brienno is a bit tricky to access via public transport, but we enjoyed the challenge of navigating the busses and boats!

The property was really charming & cozy The location is perfect.Very quiet relaxing and Close to bigger city’s One really good restaurant is just across the street. The property was really clean Fitted with everything you need for a good stay . The owner was very helpful with everything. Highly recommended I definitely will go back 👍🏼

The kitchen was fully equipped and the family room was spacious, the view was spectacular.

Lovely big and clean apartment and environment. Great small town with couple of restaurants and great views! Public Transportation boat leaves right next door few times a day, which is worth taking as it offers a great angle from the lake.
