“Comfortable and well located within the old town”

Clean and functional apartment, very well situated in the beautiful old town. The pictures of the apartment are accurate. Nice with access to free buses within the town (it is a bit far to walk uphill from the ski lifts). The beds where comfortable with clean sheets. All in all we were very happy with our stay and would gladly stay in the apartment again if we revisit Briançon. Thank you Melanie!

“Great stay in lovely apartment”

Lovely, cosy, homely apartment in the old walled city in Briançon. We loved staying in this area and it gave our skiing holiday an added dimension. It is very quiet but metres from the main shopping street - Le Grand Rue Mel, the owner, was exceptionally helpful.

Great location and full of character. Pleasant decor and very clean. Thick walls made it pleasantly cool in a heatwave.

Great host, very responsive to any questions, well appointed and well equipped flat, firm comfortable beds in lovely old medieval town, quiet and no traffic.

The location is amazing! The rooms are large enough, you have enough to cook if you want but there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Awesome historic building, nicely renovated. 4x cyclists stayed during Tour de France, lots of room for bikes, lovely terrace and outlook, perfect location. Very cool!

“Gorgeous apartment with terrace in the heart of a medieval city”

We stayed as a family of 4 and found the flat to be very comfortable and modern, with a well stocked kitchen including washing machine and with lovely added touches of coffee, washing powder, condiments, quirky decor. I loved the low ceilings in keeping with the location in the heart of a medieval city but the tall men didn’t (our only small complaint)! Mel was helpful and responded quickly to all our requests including an early check in. The bonus is the location in the heart of the old city and we loved having a terrace with stunning view of the cobbled streets and a glimpse of the Alps. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would stay again if I ever have the privilege of visiting Briancon again

“Wonderful place, happy memories”

We love this place. It's set in a medieval citadel full of character and charm. The apartment has everything we need and is a pretty and comfortable. It's a great place to unwind and relax. There are a choice of slopes to choose from to start the ski day so we prefer to drive and choose on the day, for example Chantemerle or Monetier and there is a new gondola at Propel. The host, Mel, is extremely helpful and friendly. She even got us a discount on our ski pass and organised ski lessons for our family with a really good teacher . Snow conditions were great considering much of the Alps was struggling. We think it would be great to go there in the summer as well to walk in the mountains.

Maison a tour was amazing. It has all you need for a very comfortable stay and the location is beautiful. We spent our evenings sitting on the terrace which overlooks the beautiful old buildings of briacon. The owner went out of her way to help us and was very friendly.

Beautiful apartment providing a wonderful holiday home in the heart of the Medieval Citadel of Briacon. This is the second year we have stayed with this host as we found everything to be excellent. As skiers we found the flexibility of a short drive to the various Serre Chevalier slopes suited us perfectly.

We really enjoyed our stay! It's a lovely and warm apartment within the old city. It was clean, everything we needed was available and many restaurants close by. The instructions were clear and Melanie has been wonderful in communicating everything in a timely manner.
