Overview
A traditional residence from the end of the 19th century, the Hotel Edelweiss is 200 metres from a free shuttle bus, which drives the 1 km to Serre Chevalier ski slopes and Monetier-les-Bains. Guest rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The hotel offers a cosy reading room in which to relax at the end of the day. Breakfast is served in the large dining room. Surrounded by a charming park, the Hotel Edelweiss offers Wi-Fi Internet access and babysitting service for your convenience. In partnership with the Serre Chevalier ski lifts, the hotel's reception can also deliver ski passes. Briançon Old Town is just 300 metres away.

The room was spacious and very good hot water in the spotlessly clean bathroom. Breakfast was great - croissants, bread, cheese, meats, yoghurts and fruit. Egg boiler also and all the coffee and tea you want!

“A very well located comfortable hotel”
The hotel is well located very near the old town and it is a 10 minute walk to the Grande Rue. The staff were very helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty to eat at breakfast.

“Good for transit.”
Location was good. 10 minutes walk to the gates of the town. It's a steep walk though. Keep in mind the town is based on a steep hill too. Parking available at the hotel.. And free parking is available next to the hotel also. Bedroom was clean and bed is comfortable. Friendly staff.

“Perfect value for money”
Perfect value for money. Simple but lovely breakfast. Location is great 15min by walk to the slopes and less than 10min walk to the old town. Please note that the street is very steep and up hill, so even if you can walk it is not suitable for elderly or people with disabilities.

“Can’t wait to return to the Hotel Edelweiss”
Very stylish and comfortable hotel - extremely clean with everything we could have wished for. Breakfast was great - lots of variety and very tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful and prepared to go the extra mile to help. Parking on-site was a bonus and very convenient location for the Old Town (and the main town down the hill). We would certainly recommend this hotel and will return.
