All of the information provided before arrival was so helpful. Especially the video! The apartment was warm and cosy, and everything we needed was there to make self catering an easy option. Some things- like the bins- we only discovered on the last day!

“Decent apartment in a super-easy location”

Absolutely perfect location - ski hire 2 doors away, a restaurant/bar next to that, and a cafe/bar/market one more shopfront along.... Oh, and the piste ends in front of the building and the ski-lift is 20m away.

Only reason to stay here is the price. The building is run down. The promised parking in front of the appartment is always full. The whole of Cielo Alto looks a bit outdated. The appartment itself is more of a small studio (tiny) but it was clean and all the equipent you need is there. Watch out when booking: Blue Moon has several appartments in the area and the pictures you see on Booking.com are not necessarily the appartment you will be staying in. Some of their appartments are really close to the slope and the lift of Cielo Alto, ours wasn't. You can actually avoid valking up and down the road and get easy access to the slope if you find the paths through the trees... Luckily, the quality of the skiing in Cervinia makes up for that!

Great apartment. We stayed 1 night here after skiing. The space was nicely decorated and was lovely and warm. Beds were comfortable too.

Overall, we liked everything. The ski lift is located just three metres from the front door, which is very convenient. The apartment has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The location is excellent if you are a capable skier or boarder with access to the slopes less than 100m from your front door (but you have to be able to ski black runs to take advantage of that). Nice, spacious and clean with plenty of amenities close by.

“Excellent stay in Cervinia - Matterhorn apartments”

The communication with the team at BlueMoon Matterhorn Apartments was fantastic. They really helped us with our stay and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment itself is in a great location for accessing the ski resort, there's a chair lift right outside the accommodation and the main gondola only a short ski down the hill. We couldn't fault it.

The apartment is located above the historic village of Cervinia. While the village and lifts can be reached theoretically on foot, a car is basically a requirement. Communication was good. For one to two nights acceptable, but not really suited for a comfy longer stay with a family.

We had an enjoyable stay overall and the apartment was well located for skiing, which made getting to the slopes very convenient. The space was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short ski trip. That said, the apartment felt a bit dated, and some of the appliances didn’t work as well as expected, which was a little frustrating at times. With some updates and better-maintained appliances, this could be a great place to stay.

Firstly, I'd like to thank the staff for helping me with my early check-in and for the wonderful Christmas compliment. As for the accommodation, everything met my expectations. It's a very atmospheric place, easy access to the ski lift, with a full kitchen in the room. The room was warm and the beds were comfortable. Parking was also convenient, even though there were a lot of people there. There's also a bus stop near the hotel for transportation to the ski lift. I recommend room 503 for families and groups, a decent option.

-The location is brilliant. -I was able to walk down 2mins to the slope beside matterhorn apartments that connects real close to the lifts to plain maison junction. (Red piste) -I also have a choice to walk from La Grand'ourse building 1min through a small forest to use a slope that also connects to the plain maison lifts. (Red piste) -Bus stop outside both matterhorn apartments and la grand'ourse apartments. -both matterhorn and la grand'ourse apartments were warm and comfortable, equiped with everything you need. -There is a ski locker in la grand'ourse -rental shop and ski pass office outside of matterhorn apartments -the staff are brilliant and helpful and they send you video tutorials and pdfs. They are excellent
