“Eccentric, strange B&B that is just really cool to stay at!”
When we first came in, it was all a bit strange, but we quickly grew very fond of the rather strange interior. The host had some great stories to tell about all the individual art and pieces from all over Asia. The room itself had an Asian theme going on which was both a bit crazy but also great fun. Location was very nicely situated between Caen, Bayeux, Gold and Sword beaches. Great big shower!

Excellent host, home made jams and amazing yoghurt, very amiable. Philippe was attentive and we enjoyed his house full of artefacts from around the world. We stayed in the room Capitaine which had some really authentic marine antiques.

PERFECT HOST. WE STAYED IN THE CAPTAINS ROOM, DEDICATED TO PHILLIPES NAVAL FOREFATHERS, AND WAS TOLD THE HISTORY OF THE FAMILY PHOTOS. FANTASTIC COLLECTION OF ARTIFACTS ALL OVER THE HOUSE. VERY GOOD BREAKFAST OF BREAD. CHEESE, PASTRIES, FRUIT, , GOOD COFFEE, HOME MADE JAMS & YOGURTS. OWN TERRACE WITH DOOR INTO CAPTAINS ROOM. IDEALLY PLACED FOR CAEN 7 BAYEAUX

“The perfect place to stay!”
Our host was welcoming and very helpful. The property is a charming, characterful 18th century townhouse located in a pretty little village within minutes of Caen and Bayeux. Our accommodation was spotlessly-clean, spacious and well-appointed - with everything we could possibly need to make our stay enjoyable as well as comfortable. We loved the delicious home-made jams at breakfast!

“Home du Monde is a great place to stay if you are visiting the Normandy / D Day area.”
The property owner, Phillip was very helpful and kind. We booked 2 rooms and they were well decorated, clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast was simple and in a french style. Phillip would chat with us each morning and give us tips about our day trips as well. The place was very close to all the D Day sites and we would highly recommend this B&B. Thanks Phillip!

Very nice rooms with unique character. Very friendly host! A lot of mainly asian art presented in the room where breakfast was served. Just wonderful to look at. Great breakfest!
