Very peaceful and clean

“Absolutely wonderful”

It was perfect. Comfortable, homely & had everything you need. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and a lovely walk along the river. Hot shower, comfortable beds & Audrey was a lovely welcome when we arrived.

Audrey was very welcoming and everything was well prepared including chilled water in the fridge. A well located comfortable place to stay with a lovely garden to enjoy the evening sun. Highly recommend.

“A beautiful place to stay”

An excellent location if you have a car. Much privacy, calm, well equipped, very good mattress in the bedroom, beautiful shower and a courtyard equipped with everything to have a meal outside or just to sit with a cup of coffee. Also, very short walk to lakes and restaurants, only 20 km to beautiful beaches.

It was very clean and had had everything ready for us. Communication was great and all instructions were easy to follow. The shower was huge !

Great location very handy for Le Shuttle. A lovely place to have a walk around. Lovely property with a very helpful host who gave lots of information on how to find the property and access the keys. Great secure parking and a very nice property.

A very well equipped studio apartment. Very spacious and clean. Secluded. We would have happily stayed more then one night, as there was plenty of room.

“Handy for the Shuttle”

The property is a self contained bungalow within a large gated yard adjacent to the owners' property. It's in a quiet lane on the fringe of Ardres which is a charming small French town. It's a short walk into town where there are a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. There is a bar brasserie and a pizza takeaway within an even shorter walk. Audrey was very helpful and understanding when we had a problem with the gate. It's a very convenient stopover for Le Shuttle which you can reach in about 15/20 minutes by car.

“Perfect location, excellent facilities and a great welcome.”

Perfect for our one night stop. Secure gated location, and very convenient for a good supermarket (for our last few purchases), with a good boulangerie just 5 minutes walk away. Less than half an hour to check in at Eurotunnel. We will definitely try to stay with Audrey again.

The gite was very clean and very well equipped. There was ample secure parking and private outside space with chairs, loungers and a BBQ. The owner made herself know to us and was very pleasant. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Very secure behind electric gates. Quiet location very close to the channel tunnel which we were on route to. The property was clean and had everything we needed.

Everything was excellent, except the bed was very hard, which wasn’t good for my hips. The cleanliness was exemplary, and Audrey, the host, was very willing to accommodate my special requirements.
