Situated in the coastal town of Brekstad, a 1-hour boat ride from Trondheim, Ørland Kysthotell offers regional cuisine, themed guest rooms and panoramic views of the Trondheim Fjord. The locarion is perfect, just at the pier with a beautiful view of the fjords. The staff was trying to help as much as they can. But, the hotel needs an overhault on the air conditioning system

We stayed in the old part of the hotel. The sink was dirty and the shower was leaking water out on the bathroom floor. My partner was adamant that the room had a faint smell of cigarettes. Also the recepetionist took a while before he showed up at the check-in/check-out desk. Breakfast was good. Nice oceanside view. A perfectly adequate hotel for the price.

Staff was helpful. Breakfast was good and started at 6.30am. It contained cold and warm plates, fruit and croissants. Breakfast tables overlooking the sea. Room spacious.
