Hovde Gård is situated in Brekstad, 300 metres from the Trondheim Fjord. It offers a restaurant, a spa and free Wi-Fi internet access. All rooms include a flat-screen TV, bathrobes and slippers. The traditionally decorated guest rooms are located in 3 different buildings. Guests can choose between a private bathroom or shared facilities. Hovde Gård’s restaurant serves seasonal specialities from the Trondelag region. All dishes are based on locally sourced ingredients. A bar is also available. Spa facilities include a hot tub, gym and sauna. Massage and other treatments can be booked on site. In summer, guests can relax in the furnished garden. Austrått Fortress and Austrått Golf Club are 10 minutes’ drive from Hovde Gård Hotel. Staff is happy to help arrange boat trips, rafting and other activities. On-site parking is free.

The building is lovely. Years ago was an old school for housewives! The staff of hotel are wonderful. Breakfast is very good. We had a huge suite.

Quiet place with a small spa (jacuzzi and sauna), which is free for the people staying in the hotel, and nice breakfast. Perfect for a relaxing weekend.

“Great one night with fantastic breakfast.”
The room was big and comfy, even though the bathroom was not inside the room it did not bother us because we had a "private" bathroom across the hall and there was a sink inside the room. Breakfast was fantastic and had everything I look for. The scrambled eggs were one of the best i´ve had.

It is a lovely property. Well kept gardens and nice installations in general. The Fjøset restaurant is very cozy and the food was nice too. The breakfast was nice and also the breakfast room.
