This lovingly restored brewery and guesthouse boasts a picturesque setting at the foot of the Braunfels castle hill. Spacious rooms, many of which have a terrace or balcony, tasty cuisine and a unique insight into the local brewing tradition make for a truly memorable holiday. Choose among attractive sports and leisure activities such as horse riding, fishing and climbing. Alternatively, you might explore the regional attractions including Kubach’s crystal cave, the Weilburg zoo and the Goethe town of Wetzlar. The inviting restaurant will spoil you with abundant Hessian specialities, not to mention the freshly produced beer. Free parking is available on site at the guest house.

“This little hotel would be a great stop for anyone visiting the Braunfels area.”
This was an excellent hotel and the breakfast was awesome and the owners were amazing. Typical German fare for breakfast, buns and cheese and meat with some yogurt, many choices of jam or jellies or honey and an egg and coffee tea and juice. The room was large, clean with attentive housekeeping staff and very quiet especially after 9:30 pm when the restaurant guests began to head home. The room had a good sized fridge and cook top. We appreciated the fridge but didn’t need to use the cook top during our stay. We also enjoyed a wonderful meal in the restaurant that was excellent in flavour with large portions and reasonably priced for the portion. We would definitely stay here again!
