“Lovely staff and excellent breakfast”

The staff was very friendly, the room very spacious and beautiful. Location is excellent, walking distance from the Marksburg. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh breads, fruits, yoghurt. Everything one could wish for. It was very thoughtful that our kids got special plates and cups for kids. We will definitely stay here again!

A really lovely and friendly place to stay, right in the centre of Braubach, and lying on the Rheinsteig trail route. The couple who run the hotel, and serve the wonderful breakfast, were really helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay

Well located hotel for the town and the area. Very clean en-suite room with TV (limited channels). The staff are incredibly friendly. Breakfast is next door in their own bakery and they serve a splendid cold meats,fruit,egg etc that is a very high standard. I could park my motorcycle in a secure rear yard. Exceptional value for money. Would definitely return.

“Lovely village hotel with a warm welcome for dogs”

A lovely small hotel right in the heart of the village. Parking was conveniently available nearby. Dogs were exceptionally well taken care of — there was a water bowl waiting in the room, and at breakfast they even had a blanket prepared and received treats. The breakfast itself was very good, and the café offered delicious cakes to take away. The service was truly friendly and welcoming.

“It was a wonderful stay in a cozy property. The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything you need. There’s a beautiful, large terrace, a great cafeteria, and a delicious breakfast. Everything you might need—supermarket, train station, and river—is just 3–4 minutes away. The staff is exception ally polite and welcoming. We will definitely come back!

“Cosy small hotel with excellent breakfast and welcoming staff”

The hotel is located in a building with a historical facade. Very nice. The rooms are quite basic but everything is there! Rooms are located on the front as well as in a second building that is connected via a traverse/hallway. Breakfast is really fantastic and is served in the adjacent bakery/Konditorei that we think is runned by the family Maass. Both hotel and bakery/konditorei are connected to each other. The staff welcomes every guest personally and the genrerous breakfast consists of different kinds of bread, croissants, egg, cheese, meat, juice, yogurt on demand and several types of coffee. Excellent!

The stay at Garni Maas was indeed exceptional. We stayed in the hotel three years ago and had so many fond memories that we wanted to come back again. And our expectations were rewarded! The staff, the Maass family, were welcoming and hospitable, treating us as family. The breakfasts were delicious and the fact that we were encouraged to take the uneaten bread rolls with us, took care our lunches during the days. On my birthday our table was decorated, and my wife and I received huge slices of cake to take our room. Our room, Number 11, the same room as three years ago, was the best in the hotel, allowing us to stay in a medieval atmosphere in 21st century comfort. Braubach is a beautiful town on the Rhine, with a romantic castle and pretty centuries' old streets and houses. My German is limited, but I do know enough to state that our stay was "wie im Himmel"!

Great location in the middle of town. Great breakfast. Very helpful and friendly host. Hot and cold drinks made available in a communal area in the hotel. Free car parking nearby in a parking lot near (but not adjoining) the hotel.

The property was central to everything and there were plenty of places to relax outside in the gardens.

Comfortable room and bathroom. Host did a great breakfast and was very nice. Lovely place to stay in cute little town would stay again happily. Good value too.

The hotel was lovely with a great garden outside. Help yourself drink and snack buffet, with honesty box. Breakfast was delicious and we were encouraged to make sandwiches for later. The owners were very friendly.

Excellent location, cozy interior, nice view of the castle from the cheapest room in the hotel, very nice and hospitable owners and staff. Breakfast was very nice as well, various, but without hot dishes (which is absolutely fine and expected for this category of hotel). Very good cappuccino was also included.
