“Good overall”

During booking I saw that check in is possible until 20. I requested check in between 19 and 20. It was approved but then an employee messages me that the latest check in is 18:30! It is clear he wanted to go home early and I respect that, but from the service point of view it was annoying. I had to go faster on my bike to make it on time. Also breakfast for 14 euros was boring. I could buy all of it at supermarket. Boiled eggs instead of omelette…

“Very welcoming in a beautiful setting.”

Very clean, spacious rooms and comfortable beds.Though staff didn’t speak much English,they were extremely helpful . Pity that the Manor House is closed,would have been nice to explore it.Enjoyed continental breakfast siting by the lake. Beautiful location with close by local restaurants.We ate at Stakehouse.The food was very tasty,nice drinks and we’re lucky to listen to local musicians playing that night.

“Clogged Shower Drain”

The Shower was not working properly. First we didn't have proper hot water. The bigger problem was that the drain for shower was choked and the shower tub was flooded. The bathroom was smelly after the technician tried to clean the drain.

“I little bit of Maldives :)”

It was a way beyond our expectations! We stayed in the boathouse! We felt like we were on Maldives! The quiet evenings was perfect! A bottle of wine, looking on sunset and moonrise... We are so unlucky because we stayed only one night but the peaceful neighbourhood and friendly staff are worth to stay a week, especially if you want to have some peaceful rest. A simple life, a simple timespending, a quick lessons to speak German which one sentence is very important: "Eine Krombacher bite!" We will return here definitely!

“Awesome place!”

We took the boat house. Ot was really nice! As previous comment said, there was some spiders but only outside, and it can't be helped as the boat is on water. But the inside was very clean and we had no issues at all! A bottle of sparkling wine and water were waiting for us in the fridge, and small bottle of soap and moisturiser. The inside of the boat house was very cozy, our group of 4 enjoyed it a lot!

Very interesting historical place with a beautiful park. Open air restaurant with a view of the lake. Very friendly staff.

Nice big, well equipped apartment. Beds comfortable and everything inside the apartment was clean. Breakfast was fine for the money.

“Excellent”

The room size was huge, separate bathroom which was huge, the first floor was at our disposal. It was very warm, comfortable beds The room overlooked the river, wonderful views. There aren't enough superlatives to describe the breakfast, it was fabulous, the choice was outstanding, it was a cold buffet. Parking excellent,. Will definitely visit again if passing, can definitely recommend. Visited late November.

“Will try to come again!”

It would be great to add a hair dryer and some shower soap and shampoo. Other than lovely place. Great location and lots of space. Wish we could have stayed longer.
