“Alright for a 1-2 night stay but guests need more facilities in hotel as quite rural.”
The owner/manager was exceptionally helpful, kind & considerate & attentive. 10/10 for him & his staff. Nice view from front balcony rooms & ground floor terrace to small lake. Owners lovely dog & 2 cats. Ironing room.

Location, just 3 mins off the main road. Excellent reception from everyone concerned with our visit. The evening meal ( check which days are available) was excellent and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake was amazing. I would very much recommend this hotel. We used it as a stop over between Bilbao and south France. Also have a bar.

“Lovely, riverside location. Basic, characterless facilities”
Breakfast very basic. Bread and croissants were little, and obviously frozen supermarket product. No fruit juice, cheese, or ham. Dinner offered very little choice, not tasty. Only good dish was a roasted chestnut soup. Small, characterless room, with tiny bathroom. Constant background noise from motorway.
