Set in an 18th-century building with period furniture, L'Hôtel de Panette is surrounded by a 600-m² garden and is the former estate of the Spanish Charles V during his exile. It offers B&B accommodation with free Wi-Fi access throughout the property. Bourges Train Station is 1.7 km away. All of the rooms include a private bathroom and a TV. What can I say……. Exquisite if you appreciate antiquity and beauty. The family who own this are friendly and devoted to what they have preserved. This is a must do. Marvin on the front desk is a true gentleman. This peace of heaven was a real treat in a beautiful true French chateau filled with history and wonderfully restored with true considerations. We loved it very much

“Highly recommend if you want to have an usual stay and new experience”
The most unusual stay I’ve ever had! Pictures say it all. Super quiet area, even it’s the in the city center. Very helpful staff, we got the recommendations about what to see and where to have dinner in the area, which was also a very good experience. Also unusual breakfast - you’re sharing a table with other guests and the food is homemade and delicious

“Historic Short Stay”
Wow, this is an amazing historic property that has been renovated in a sympathetic manner. You really feel like you are staying in a place of historic importance. The location is right in the centre of the historic city, a short walk from the town centre and Cathedral. The team were really helpful and we particularly liked the garden which was a bit of an oasis in the middle of the city. Our room was large and spacious with all the facilities that you need for a short stay.

“To summarise all , we had a royal experiment but without all the carrying intended for this standard.”
We booked the Don carlos room, which is the biggest. The room was great but a bit over priced, the style of the room was correct with a nice TV and also the location close to nearby shops. For the breakfast distinguished decorations and an amazing staff member from Ireland. The cleaning staff was very welcoming as well. It was an uncommon and rare experience to sleep in the master suit that belongs to a king.

Exceptional breakfast, probably the best breakfast experience in a hotel in wonderful surroundings. The lady who served breakfast (apologies we cannot remember her name) was so helpful and what a wonderful cook, scrambled eggs highly recommended and the cakes she baked delicious.
