It’s age and quirkiness. Like stepping back in time but with the modern conveniences. Very comfortable bed, lovely views from our room, good shower, comfortable seating, kitchenette facilities with everything you need, plenty of storage & a well stocked mini bar

If there was a score higher than 10 then it would be deserved by this wonderful family run hotel. Gaelle was super helpful and friendly and arranged for an amazing breakfast basket to be delivered to our room, the room was comfortable and had everything we needed, the historical buildings have been beautifully and proudly restored/renovated by the owners and the location was excellent. We loved our stay at de Panetta - it was perfect!

Nice spacious room - with second room (bedroom). Very good location. Helpful staff. The optional breakfast is excellent - highly recommend it’s worth the £15 for two.

We have stayed at the property on 3 previous occasions and each time has been a pleasure. The rooms are charming, staff very helpful and it is full of character as well as being centrally located in Bourges

Lovely spot, very comfortable room, good communication with staff, clean, friendly, but best was location just behind the Bourges cathedral, on a lovely street, close to the Jacques Coeur house/chateau, with it's own charming architecture. They did a terrific job fixing this place up. Parking was easy and convenient.

We arrived a little early and were able to check in straight away. We were also able to park in the grounds which helped us to unload our things. It was also great to be close to some good restaurants. We did enjoy having our own little space too.

We loved the fact that we were right in the middle of old Bourges and that we could park our car. Our room under the roof was lovely. Our bed was comfortable, the shower great, and since it was hot: air conditioning
