Location was central and also quiet. The building was historical and had been beautifully restored. lovely wooden hand rails and timber flooring etc. Also, because of history of place, we got a free 30 minute tour of the main building from a lovely member of staff Sisten. She was so knowledgeable and her English was great. We learned so much and it was a really wonderful experience and a highlight of our time.

Very central location near to the old part of town. The room was large and comfortable with ye olde world furniture. Basic furnishing and very basic cooking.

“An oasis of calm in an historical city”

Bourges is a really nice town, full of history and old building. The place was tucked away in a court yard. Parking was on the street, but it is free from 5pm to 8am. We only stay a night, but it would be a really nice place to stay longer. Very quiet night sleep. Thank you

Communication from host was excellent. Parking was convenient. We only stayed one night as we were on a road trip but it was a great place to stay, explore Bourges and relax before continuing our journey.

“Week ender in Bourges”

The property is a serviced apartment in an old town house. Difficult to describe it accurately in a short review but the property's own description on Booking.com is accurate. We had booked one apartment but were moved to a bigger apartment because of a plumbing problem in the original. I don't know the original price of the upgraded apartment. Very comfortable and spacious for two, with A/C in the main room. Bath with shower attachment. All high spec. Communication with the manager was efficient and we found the place easily. Our usual practice, following bitter past experience, is to park near to a new property and recce. on foot so I could assess the on-site parking without holding up the traffic. The property is conveniently situated in an old part of town close to cafes, restaurants and other tourist facilities. The downside is that the approach is along narrow routes with a warren of one-way and pedestrianised streets so that it's best to park the car and go everywhere on foot. The sat. nav. didn't cope very well at all. Our experience is that the best approach is from the south-west end opposite the entrance to the rue Fernault from the Rives d'Auron.

It’s not easy to find the parking location and also the room door. The kitchen toaster and coffee maker were on the shelf too high to use them.
