The bed was super comfy and the bedding was such good quality we had a great nights sleep We walked for 20 mins to discover the amazing medieval city of Bourges….we hadn’t realised how close we were to it as it was a last min booking. Had we known we would have booked 2 nights so we could have explored properly. We checked out early to make our ferry home so did not get to have breakfast but saw the tables laid out ready for guests. The gentleman checking us in was very nice and helpful and met the owner as we left who was also pleasant. Free parking on the property and right outside the entrance too. Quiet location.

“Nice small hotel, somewhat off centre of Bourges. Pleasant staff and breakfast but room small.”

Room nice but small and almost no clothes storage. V good bathroom for disabled - wetroom which drained well and was big enough, but bedroom a bit small as a result (of bigger bathroom maybe?) It was not easy to manoeuvre around bed and floor space limited. But we may need more space than most as we have a portable hoist for my wife, not just the wheelchair. Breakfast v nice with fresh ingredients and decent coffee from machine. I used the delightful swimming pool once on the hot afternoon we arrived. After that, rain and storms! Very courteous and helpful staff. No complaints and would come again, knowing what to expect.

Aircon worked well and the pool facilities were a lovely bonus in the heatwave.

On arrival, there was a commotion outside. Existing guests said the owner was allegedly having some form of breakdown and was wielding a knife. They advised not to go in as the police and medics were on their way. No joke. We found another hotel!

It was very clean old French style. Staff friendly .Breakfast lovely.

Access to room with wheelchair very good. Could sit outside apartment door in the fresh air. Parking on site. Reception manager very helpful, corrected a booking error re wheelchair access for me - he suggested I always mention we have a wheelchair in booking notes.

There is a nice little pool (great to cool off in after a long car journey there) and owner/manager/receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and felt safe and was good value. A reasonable place to spend one night when travelling down to the South. Bourges itself is a beautiful small town.

Large rooms ,nice and clean ,swimming pool,fantastic breakfast, professional and friendly staff.We stayed for two nights on our way back from holiday, and it was an absolutely fantastic time .
