“Absolutely perfect and will definately be retutning.”
The location and area was amazing. We had a very warm welcome from Claude and his 3 beautiful dogs, and then a tour of the property. This was truely a magical place to stay after a long drive. The accomadation was perfect in every way and our breakfast the next morning was excellent, we were treated to an omelette which tasted fantastic, courtesy of the hens that roam the property.

Queen room was very nice, charming and historic. Property itself has countryside atmosphere with chickens, lambs, peacocks, wine yard (compared to some high end winery where every last straw of grass has been mowed). Offered us very nice 3 plate homemade dinner, as this was Sunday and off season, so not too many options in town nearby. WiFi was very fast, speed test showed 200+ Mbits. Host are very nice and easy to talk, good English level.

“Amazing winery-farm combo experience outside Bordeaux”
Claude & Sasha welcomed us with open hands (drink) and made us feel like home. Their home-made food was superb and their newly made wine is amazing. Both are very charming and with their multi-lingual education (French, English, German, Dutch, etc.) This winery is doing a full circle farm with sheeps, chickens and dogs running around, which is an experience itself complimented by surround view of their grapes.

“An excellent property with a great host - a great place to stay.”
This is an excellent property close to the very pretty and charming town of Bourg sur la Gironde, with very nice bars and restaurants. Claude is a terrific host and nothing seemed too much trouble. He even got up very early to serve us breakfast before our very early morning start! Set in open country amongst the Chateau's vineyards this really is a very nice, comfortable and tranquil property.
