We had a wonderful holday at Syl-Vallée last week. From the moment we arrived we could tell that this place is more than a little bit special! The site itself is just a few minutes from the motorway but far enough from main roads that the night times are completely silent - even the donkeys go to bed! During our stay (family of 4 with two teenage daughters) we used the small but lovely pool several times a day as the weather was extremely warm. Even when it was busy the water still felt fresh. We also made use of the bar/ restaurant which is also great - fair prices, ice-cold drinks and they were also able to cater for our daughter's severe allergies brilliantly so that we were able to eat together on one of the evenings. The accomodation is all lovely and of the several options available (including Tee Pees!), we stayed in one of the cabins which had a super terraced area as well as a loung and two good sized bedrooms. There's no air con but we were aware of this before we booked. There's lots of trees for shade but I'd definitely make sure there's some bug spray in your case. Our hosts, Sylvain and Valerie were simply fantastic. Super friendly and really interested in how our holiday was going. We had some great advice about places to go and things to see and on top of all of that, they even came to say happy birthday to me after we'd mentioned it the previous evening. Overall, I can't rate this place highly enough. The 'wild west' theme is great fun but not overbearing and everything else just fitted in to place perfectly. We're certainly hoping to go back one day,
