“Lovely traditional stay in Boseong”

Staying in a 200 years old traditional house is like living in a period drama! Loved the experience! Facilities were updated to modern comfort (proper shower and toilet) and it was super clean! The host was so lovely to arrange a dinner place for us and told us about the history of the place as well as the usage for filming movies and dramas nowadays.

The stay was amazing and the hosts were very welcoming people. They helped us a lot since we didn't have a car. Would recommend 100% for a peaceful stay!

“Hidden information”

The sound of the emergency alarms waking everyone up at 3 and 4 in the morning was a terrifying experience, but I look back on it as a positive that the fire department was there.

This is a very great opportunity to stay in a proper hanok house and experience it. The locations is beautiful and peaceful, the owner is the most approachable and friendly owner we've ever experienced. The house is very comfortable and we had one of our best rest during the trip.

Great place, very original hotel. The hostess was very welcoming. Despite the fact that the toilet is in a separate building, we were very comfortable and did not want to leave.

An amazing place that has been in the Family for centuries. It has been immaculately restored to original condition with an up to date Bathroom. The host is such a wonderful person who makes you feel completely welcome and at home. This beautiful place far exceeded our expectations. The host also organised a restaurant nearby where we had an amazing meal.

Beautiful traditional buildings set around a courtyard. Lovely couple runs the place who bend over backwards to accommodate your needs.

Top traditional property. There was a tea room with the room that we enjoyed a lot. The host is an incredible kind lady.

“Wonderful experience!”

Wonderful hanok stay!! The hanok is beautiful and very well preserved. We felt we were travelling back in time! It is located in a small village surrounded by rice fields. It is definitely worth to stay here to see another view of Korea. To get there, we missed the last bus and our hosts were very kind to come and pick us up! There is also a train station at 30 minutes walk in the rice fields (we did that the next morning) but there are just few trains per day.

The place is one and only! Both lovely hosts went out of their way to make the stay even more enjoyable.

“An unique cultural experience”

The place is beautifully maintained. Historic experience of staying in a Hanok. Quiet, quaint surroundings as you walk around the village. And the most charming & hospitable owners ever , who really took care of us and fetch us for dinner and to the tea plantation. Highly recommended.

Staying here was such a highlight - my favourite place we stayed on our trip to Korea. A beautiful historic house that was still comfortable and warm. Bathrooms are in a different building but that wasn't an issue as it wasn't raining and they are nice and modern. The host was lovely and prepared a small breakfast tray, and the room comes with tea and coffee facilities and a fridge. If you have mobility issues, sitting on the floor and climbing into the rooms/ bathroom might be a bit difficult as the doors are essentially the size of a large window, but we found it part of the experience. I hope to stay here again one day!

“Wonderful stay in a traditional Minbak”

We had a lovely stay in this traditional house! The host was lovely and provided delicious breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean, with underfloor heating. Overall the stay was comfortable, but you should expect a traditional bed (futon)! We initially considered traveling by train, but decided to rent a car instead - with hindsight, this was the best way to go, especially if you want to travel to nearby attractions (e.g. tea plants) or restaurants. The surroundings are lovely and super calm.

Great area and setting! Lovely host! Would have loved to stay longer!
