Set in a traditional stone house surrounded by Istrian countryside, Agroturism Stara Štala is located in Borut, 7 km from Cerovlje. Its restaurant serves homemade traditional dishes and organic vegetables. Free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a flat-screen TV are provided in all rooms. Fitted with solid wooden furniture, all units include a bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. Hotel restaurant is decorated with exposed stone walls and wooden beams and serves breakfast each morning. Various animals, such as ducks, donkeys, ponies, chickens, can be approached in a petting zoo. There are various hiking traces and a lake in the vicinity. Guests can experience seasonal grape harvest at Agroturism Stara Štala. Surrounding Istrian towns can easily be explored. Hum, the smallest town in the world, is 8 km away, while Buzet, famous for truffles, is 20 km away. Beaches can be found in Lovran and Opatija, both 30 km away. A railway station is in Borut, 2 km from the property. The historic town of Pula, with International Airport, is a 45-minute drive away.

Nice countryside accommodation, hosting lady had warm welcome for us with cold beer, as we had been driving almost 600 km. Room was more modern as expected. Personally served breakfast extra value.

“Awesome place!”
We were absolutely happy, everything was perfect. Very clean and modern rooms with air conditioning, comfy bed, awesome dinner, local wine, great breakfast, private and safe parking for motorbikes/cars, nice outdoor section. A beautiful and quiet place but easy to reach. And affordable too. Very nice hosts!!! Thank you for a great experience! 🤗😃

We really enjoyed our stay at Agroturizam Stara Stala. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a quiet, relaxing break. The real standout was the breakfast, honestly the best we’ve had in Croatia. Everything was homemade and fresh, and you could tell a lot of care went into it. “Lovely stay on a farm”
Our hostess was friendly and quick to respond. This is excellent value for money; we had a great room with a king bed, a full dinner with wine and liqueur, and a full breakfast for just over 100Euro. The location is lovely, on a working farm with a lovely view and outdoor space. You need a car to get there. I would highly recommend!!
