A former post house, this family-run hotel offers both a gorgeous view over Bort-les-Orgues on the border of Auvergne and Limousin, and a warm and friendly welcome. For your convenience, the Logis Central Hotel boasts 34 rooms fitted with all the modern conveniences. Some rooms offer a relaxing view of the Dordogne river. The dining room and terrace overlooking the Dordogne provide an ideal location to try some of the best regional dishes prepared according to tradition. A nicely furnished banquet room is available for seminars, meetings and private events gathering up to 50 people. Located in Correze, Bort-les-Orgues is at the border of the Cantal and Puy de Dôme counties. From the Val Castle to the site of Saint Nazaire strolling along the gorges of Dordogne or Rhue, you will enjoy a journey into history, and have the opportunity to do water sports or go pike fishing.

“An area with lots to see (don’t miss the dam) but small mountain village vibes”
The property has fantastic secure, cellar car parking and was easy to find. It was also super dog friendly and easy walks right outside the hotel for doggie ablutions.

“Disappointed with what I got for my money. I traveled a further 500kms by bicycle staying in 5 other places and got a be”
Very overpriced. Restaurant was ok but the staff weren’t very positive with their service. Order a half liter which they forget to bring then they bring a liter when you point out they forgot the order and the price for a liter is on the bill.

“A very nice overnight stay”
It was disappointing that the restaurant was closed as it has superb views over the river. Especially disappointing as when we booked we were told it would be open, but in fairness to the staff they quickly contacted us and apologised for their error. They suggested alternatives in the town. Breakfast was very good.

good central location in the city. Hotel parking difficult with a big car but managed to find a spot just along the road. Small room but very clean and comfy. On site restaurant very good for evening meal and a good choice for continental breakfast

I was upgraded to a suite which I really appreciate. There was no fridge in the room, so the staff let me store my cold food in their fridge overnight.
