Amazing hospitality and location!

“Outstanding”

Puunee Wild River Villas Borobudur is an incredibly special place to stay. The setting is simply stunning—everywhere you look, there’s a view, even from the bathroom. It feels completely immersed in nature while still being very comfortable. The staff were genuinely warm, friendly, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our host, Joost, gave us a lovely welcome and surprised us with an upgrade, which was a fantastic touch. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food that matched the quality of the surroundings. Everything about the stay felt thoughtful and well put together. We highly recommend this unique and memorable place. Truly excellent accommodation.

“An amazing place that exceeded my expectations”

The environment and scenery were incredibly beautiful, beyond my expectations. Staff member Dwi escorted me to the bungalow, and a welcome drink was provided. The water heater was advanced, with piano-style buttons. A small garden was right in front of the room. The restaurant beside a river with fast-flowing water, served delicious food. The breakfast was served with two drinks and delicious dishes. Candi Mendut was only a 6-minute walk from the hotel, and there was rafting just 100 meters away. I would definitely come back here again if I return to Borobudur.

The location is near to Borobudur...

I had a wonderfull stay at Puunnee Wild River. My Room "little villa" was superclean an comfi, I had a beatiful view to a flower garden and nature. Everybody was super friedly and helpfull and the food and espacialy the breakfast directly at the river were the best! For a few days out in peace really nice!

We knew we wanted to be in the nature, but we did not anticipate that we would land up in such a beautiful place! Our little villa was gorgeous, the restaurant right on the river was a real treat, and the generosity and kindness of all the staff there was exceptional! (They looked after us with such care since we arrived from Bali with upset stomachs) Jooste and his wife became friends in a very short time and we know we will see them again!

We loved the friendly staff and helpful host, who allowed us to upgrade to the villa which was very much appreciated. They also helped organise rafting for us, which was a terrific activity to do together, and suggested other things to do too

Perfect getaway! The river setting is so relaxing and truly good for the soul. Joost was a fantastic host, always helpful. We loved the food – breakfast and dinner were both excellent and well priced. Accommodation was very comfortable. Can’t wait to return!

“Lovely Place with lovely People.”

The Puunee is in the nature, it is quiet so you can really relax. The staff takes the extra mile for their customers. they are really sweet. They have a very good restaurant by the river. The Greek yogurth was a highlight for us and also the dishes were cooked to perfection. We would come again any time.
