“Absolute Bargain!”

-The hotel itself was really lovely and a nice mix of well-kept and traditional, with lots of the history still present in the architecture and decor -Our room was on the 3rd floor and was decently spacious with a new bathroom and chocolates on our pillows. The beds were very comfortable and massive, with 2 separate duvets which we always like. -Breakfast was ok, not the biggest selection but everything we did have was nice- eggs, bacon (or sausages), cereal, yoghurts, pancakes and toppings. -Free tea and coffee from the canteen almost 24/7. -Free snacks available around the first floor -Most evenings had 'snacks' on in the canteen that was more of a small meal (pasta, meat, sauces, potatoes etc). This came in very handy and saved us getting takeaway every night. The atmosphere in the canteen was lovely. -Bottles of water were free, and other soft drinks are self-service, with an honor system where you note down your room number and pay at the end of your stay. -All of the above made us feel like we got such good value for money considering our stay was cheap. Overall I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Phantasialand. It was a decent journey from Bruhl (15 min walk>tram>15 min walk) but was about a 25 minute walk across a lovely bit of farmland from the theme park- very scenic! All the staff we encountered were absolutely lovely.

Lovely hotel with lots of little surprises. Complementary self service bottled water, sweet and savoury snacks around the hotel to help yourself to. Complementary self service evening snacks in the restaurant. I have been looking forward to breakfast in Germany and this did not disappoint.

“Relaxing stay”

Different! Old castle with history. Staff were wonderful. Very relaxing stay. Room and bed was comfortable. Complementary snacks were a pleasant bonus.

Almost everything, location is perfect, beds and shower are amazing, free drinks and snacks. Loved it.

“Nice stay, very close to Phantasialand!”

We loved the castle, the big & clean room for three persons and the breakfast. There were many parking spots. Lastly there were free apples, toffees, cookies and pretzels to grab (outside breakfast hours). We arrived around 7pm and could get a room key from a vending machine. There was no one at the reception.
