Overview
Surrounded by lush and unspoiled beech forests is the Munkebjerg Bed & Breakfast, an excellent base for visits to both the Legoland Theme Park and Givskud Zoo. Close by is also the city of Kolding and the historical fortress town Fredericia. Billund Airport is just a 35 minute drive away. The newly renovated and comfortable guest rooms at Munkebjerg all include satellite TV, free internet access and heated floors. The new beds are fitted with high-quality mattresses, which guarantee a good night's sleep. Please note that the bathroom facilities are shared. Children will enjoy the outdoor play area.

“where foxes go to sleep”
Very nice owner who welcomed me very friendly. The real estate is very nicely refurbished and maintained. Plenty space to park my car, comfy bed, there is a fridge in the shared kitchen, perfect location for my visit to Tivoli Friheden and Legoland. If I am ever back in this area, I will be happy to return. Highly recommend this accomodation.

“Great place in the countryside”
Super nice place. Great appartment with lots of space. The free range chickens, the cat, the rabbit and trampoline was very popular with the kids. And so was the indoor ping pong and fussball table and all the toys. The breakfast had a lot of choices and the host was very nice.

“A beautiful stay”
We just loved the stay at Munkebjerg Bed & Breakfast. The apartment is really beautifully decorated and feels very clean. The surroundings are just amazing with the free range chicken outside the breakfast saloon, the cute little cat and the nature around. We highly recommend it.

“Beautiful farm out in the wilderness”
This property is out in the wilderness & we loved that about it! An old farm building but refurbished with all modern fittings. The rooms were beautiful, the kitchen fully functional, there's Netflix on the TV, free wifi. A cupboard was stocked with toys which was a welcome surprise for our 4-yr-old. We did not eat the breakfast but it sounded good. They also have a table tennis board & a foosball table in the breakfast room for anyone to try. But the main attraction for us was outdoors, there's a big yard for the kids to play in & rolling fields surrounding the house. They have horses, hens, a rabbit & a cat on the farm, great for kids! Also, a trampoline & outdoor seating for eating out on summer days. One could hear the birds chirping all day long, it was very beautiful :)

Abundance of everything that a family needs to relax in all weather. We booked very spontaneously and only stayed one night, so we didn't manage to explore and hang out very much, but we promised ourselves to come back soon with more time.

friendly host Anne, nice quite location surrounded by nature with animals like horses, chicken, cat, rabbit, only with few apartment. as the driveway is used only by host and guests - kids can freely play around -> location is perfect for families with kids.

A beautiful view from the window, you can even see wild animals, a quiet and cozy area for recreation, best suited for people with their own cars. It is convenient that there is a small kitchen on the 1st floor, because you can quickly prepare breakfast or just drink a cup of tea
