Fabulous Staff and Breakfast. Our second room was great, if a little small for a multi day stay. The building is historic and beautiful. Grounds are lovely. Great location if you are in this area. Really enjoyed meeting the manager and talking cars.... Left with a positive attitude about the place however when we return to the area we will look at other options before returning here.

It was such a lovely experience! Spent our Easter break here and the property is cozy and full of history. I especially love how intimate the experience is with Kjell and Evelyn managing the kitchen and check-in, which felt very homey. Beautiful house. Close enough to town to be able to walk. Peaceful.

Location and cost was very nice. Staff was friendly and attentive to the needs during breakfast. Room was spacious enough for two, with plenty of closet space.

We have spent the most wonderful days and nights at Drotting Victorias Hotell & Vilohem. Already upon arrival, our host welcomed us very warmly and made us feel comfortable, welcome and at home. The place is peacefully located on the stunning island of Öland, amidst fields, nature and with the current Royal residence Solliden and the Borgholm Slottsruin as neighbours. Guests will admire and love the rich history of the building and surroundings, as we did very much. The place, with its interior, just breathes this royal atmosphere. We spent our (3) nights in the annex next to the main building, with a very spacious bedroom and ballroom sized bathroom. All luxury was there, so was the peace and quiet needed for a good rest after days of exploring Öland. The menus offered are very very tasty and the service is just excellent, from early morning till late evening. We cannot thank the staff enough and wish our travel schedule had allowed us more time on the premises too, as during Summer, afternoon tea is also offered on specific days, which must be amazing to have in this setting. Something to go back for, as this place captured our hearts and left a lasting memory. Thank you for everything!!

I was walking from Kalmar to Lange Erik and I stayed here two seperate nights (on my way up and down the island Oland). Had two diffrent rooms, both were nice (one had really big bathroom). There is also the big castle only 5 minutes away and shops, restaurants, bus station. Great location.
