Housed in refurbished glassworks’ buildings, this property is set between Göta Canal and the Motala River. It offers rooms and apartments and a lush garden. Motala and Linköping are within 30 minutes’ drive. STF Glasbruket’s apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and canal or river views from the garden. “Wonderful experience and I hope to return someday with loved ones.”
The breakfast was outstanding and the coffee was perfect. The location is remarkably beautiful. I was fortunate to visit while trees were blossoming. I was not expecting such beauty. I also felt so welcomed despite not speaking a word of Swedish.

“Nice historic "Vandrehjem", excellent breakfast in the garden.”
Very nice historic site, fantastic garden and facilities. The little apartment was a bit basic but very well equipped. Nice beds, modern bathroom. We went for an evening swim in the river, very refreshing. EXCELLENT breakfast, al lot of homemade food.

Very convenient, we first rented bicycles from the hostel and left our car there for four days. There is also a very cosy cafe on the first floor. Lovely staff and great location for those willing to explore Götakanal.

“Idyllic - if the sun shines - but not so much in the rain”
This is a beautiful location - if the sun shines. The gardens are idyllic, there is access to fresh water swimming, canoeing, cycling on canals. The breakfast in the cafe was very nice at an extra charge. The sauna was great - again at a charge.
