Great location. Amazing pizzas.

This is a special location in one of the oldest buildings of the village at the harbour are. Next to the rooms, located at a souterrain, is a sort of large room were old benches tables and other objects are visible. There is also a massive tv screen were we played Mario Cart. Above there is a restaurant, were you can order fish and chips or a pizza. The village is in a special area of Iceland with some special walks around.

The mattress were so dirty and bed sheets were with holes and there were bed bugs, we couldn't sleep in that dirty room, we had to sleep in the car.

Very clean. Bed matress and pillows excellent. Very spacious, well equipped and clean common bathrooms (was our main concern before stay and thus really exceeded expectations). We did not buy breakfast but it looked ok.

Cozy accommodation and very friendly staff. Value for money and you get what you pay for.

We liked especially the old history of the hotel and the location; right down at the harbor in Bolungarvík where the view is so beautiful.

We got a terrific room for free in an old style house. The historic wooden floors are nice but a little noisy.

Ok this is going to be a mixed review! We, a family of 5 booked for 2 nights for the sake of sailing to Hornstrandir day tour , which was cancelled due to bad weather. Booked the corner suite + the basement room for my 18&15 ages girls. As all reviews, this place was extraordinary unique - loved the décor, the antiques; large room.Beds were extremely comfy, 2 clean shared bathrooms on the floor. Probably my favourite room out of a 14 night stay!!! Has a refrigerator down stairs for the use of guests; huge TV screen!! Watched the House of the Dragon episodes I've missed.. and the euro semis!!! Very friendly young staff!!!

The location is really convenient if you are visiting this area. We wanted to see Isafjörður and this guesthouse was the most affordable in the area and is only a 10 minutes drive from Isafjörður. We were cozy and the place is lovely. It was quiet and calm. We did not regret our choice!
