Scandic Bollnäs is located on the shores of Lake Varpen, just 300 metres from Bollnäs town centre with its shops and restaurants. On-site facilities include a sauna and gym. “It’s Scandichotell”
One of the most beautiful locations in Bollnäs. Bring swimwear if there in summer as there is a beach a short walk away. As the city is small you can still easily walk to town for dinner. Great breakfast. Nice family room, fitting two kids and two adults in one room. Goes here for lunch sometimes even when not staying at the hotell, as it’s kidsfriendly with a lovely view (and parking)

“5 Star price for a standard Hotel”
One of the most expensive Scandic hotels I have stayed in and pretty much a captive market as only Bates motel (or similar) available as an alternative. Still it was very pleasant with great sense of humour from the staff. Bar and restaurant gets busy in the evening. A fab choice at breakfast. Great views over the lake too from the rooms at the back.

“A lovely stay for me and my dog :-)!”
Beautiful location, and a very nice breakfast! I also appreciated that there was a bowl, some snacks and poop bags set forth for my dog,and also the extra sheet to put on top of the bed. I always bring my own sheets to keep the dog from leaving pawprints on the bed, but still a nice gesture.. Thank you!

The staff were wonderful, breakfast and food amazing. Gym and sauna excellent. Lake view fabulous.

Likes location and lobby With restaurant and activity room for children. Breakfast was very good, many variations and easy to navigator around the breakfast table. Staff was helpful and kept it clean. Calm invironment with big sitting area.
