Aktan is a beautiful place:):):) I definitely recommend it!!! I was lucky enough to be amongst the first guests this season,and we had a blast staying here 😊 had the privilege of meeting Mufara's friends as well and it was amazing. The whole stay was just 10/10! It was too early in the season for the pool,but there are other things you can do :) also,they have ATVs. That's definitely a fun activity:) Lovely garden to just chill,read,do yoga or whatever it is that you're into. The yurts are amazing:) Aktan is definitely a place to stay when visiting Issyk kul:)

Mufara and her team are amazing hosts. It felt like a home away from home. Sleeping in a yurt was a great experience. It is a bit far from town, but you have the option to order homemade delicious food. Thank you for hosting us, it was a stay to remember for a long time.

Great location and great staff!

We wanted a chillex period on the beach and got that 100% at this place! The host was superb and made sure we had everything at anytime we wanted! She served great diner and breakfast and helped with organising any trips! The location is great near the lake where there is a public beach with lots of Kyrgyz people and also some beatiful spots to watch the sunset. The room was clean and had a nice view on the mountains.

Proximity to Issyk Kol. Green, lush garden. Our host‘s hospitality, they were really going the extra mile to make our stay an experience which we will remember for the rest of our lives.

“Comfy family-run guest house and yurt camp”

The owners of Aktan are incredibly friendly. We felt very welcomed and taken care of. The place is clean and we slept very well in the yurts, making use of the showers and toilets in the main building. There is also a sauna available for rent which we didn’t have time to use but looked nice. Recommend!

Lake view was awesome. Breakfast and dinner (extra cost) were super yummy. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and had hot water. Staff were friendly, made us feel staying at home. Overall, it was a really great stay and we would like to come back.

When you visit Kyrgyzstan this place is really a nice place to stay. The lady who owns the house was the best host we could have. She always asks how you are, if you slept well. She really was the definition of a Kyrgyz person, kind, thoughtful and caring. The place also has a very nice pool which is always clean. Even though the room was a bit small, it was clean and very comfortable. Very close to the apartment is also an amazing beach with sand. Overall our experience here was one of a kind, she really did everything she could to make us as comfortable as we can be, since my girlfriend had a broken leg. We recommend everyone to stay at this beautiful place.

The guesthouse is in a nice area. You have a view on one side of the mountains and on the other side of the lake. There is also a terrace where you can watch this beauty every minute. The food is amazing. It's quite expensive but you get exactly what you paid. Overall it was a very nice stay. There is also a small swimming pool with a view over the mountains.

Great location near the lake, amazing food, nice garden and a lovely host. The perfect place to relax for a few days after hiking etc. The included breakfast is simple but the excellent lunch and dinner make up for that.
