“A terrible invasion of privacy.”

The description of this room is disingenuous as it describes a private bathroom with a walk in shower. Upon arrival i was told my bathroom and toilet are on the outside of the room (I would have never booked this place knowing that) for numerous reasons. When we returned from the lake in the evening on the first night there were two people using our “private” bathroom for an hour, they also used it the next day. After confronting the owner, he said that I should contact booking.com because it’s their fault for writing the wrong description…. Not only is this room basic but it’s such an invasion of privacy from the bathroom to the seperate room you stay in, adjacent to the bedroom is door that’s locked but leads to the breakfast room, so early in the morning you are lucky enough to hear breakfast being made, and people eating as if they were actually in your room. On the opposite side of this room is a house that gets rented too. The stairs between these have lights that stay on all night so you can’t ever escape some form of light coming into the room. Outside of the room there’s a meeting table and next to that the shared dining terrace. I was advised to keep all windows open because the room doesn’t have ventilation, the issue with this is the people outside are so close you can hear them to loudly that you would think they’re inside your room. Even with windows closed it doesn’t help. The front of bedroom has two small windows that have no blinds so people can clearly see into the room too if they wanted to. The owner resentfully ended up putting a key inside the bathroom so that it could be locked when used, but the house that’s next to your room has a garden that has plain viewing of inside of your bathroom, even with the door is locked you don’t have full privacy, I noticed that people had used the bathroom at other times. This really was false advertising for the room and such an invasion of privacy from all aspects.

The owners are very nice, the location is great. Quiet place at the end of a road, mountains all around.

Very friendly hosts, the breakfast was excellent and the view of the mountains is great. Everything was clean, the room was what we expected and the terrace is a good place to chill. Parking Slots are available. Weve got some very good restaurant recommendations from the host.
