Everything was perfect. Maya is an excellent and very kind host that will make your stay unforgettable. The place itself it very cosy and has everything you will need - Sauna, BBQ, comfortable beds. Would definitely come again!

“Magical!”

The cottage is pure magic, the host was friendly and helpful, parking was right next to the cottage, the location is amazing - just a short walk from the lake and right on river Mostnica, we walked 20 minutes up-river to see the beautiful gorges. Breakfast was well and beyond, as was the outside sitting area with the fire pit. We just sat there, watched the world go by, listened to the river and read our books. So idyllic and one of the loveliest places we stayed at!

We love this chalet so much that we have come two years in a row. The main thing we love is the location - just a short walk to the lake and a great people watching spot from the garden.

This was possibly the most charming Booking.com stay we have had. A beautiful location and the Chalet couldn’t have been better for the 4 of us. In hindsight we would have stayed here longer and just day-tripped to Bled which was pretty but too busy!

A beautiful and cozy cottage within walking distance of Lake Bohinj. We only spent one day here, but we wanted to stay longer because it is such a pleasant place. The cottage is spacious, has a full kitchen, and even a fireplace, which creates an incredible atmosphere. Outside the house, there is a recreation area and barbecue, which we also enjoyed using. At night, you can sleep to the sound of the mountain river if you open the windows, and in the morning you will be greeted by the magnificent landscape of this lovely mountain village. There is also a supermarket within a two-minute walk where you can buy all the food you need, which is very convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful place to relax, and we would definitely like to return again. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. We couldn’t get enough of sitting by the stream, it was so peaceful and picturesque. The accommodation itself is charming, and you can tell the hosts have put a lot of care into every detail. It’s also in a great location, perfect as a base for nearby hikes and swims in the lake. Highly recommend - we easily could have stayed a week!

“A gem in an outstanding location”

Amazing location next to the river and only 15 minutes walk across an Alpine meadow to the beautiful lake. We felt very at home. The outside area where you can sit and watch the world go by (including the cows) was particularly lovely.

The house is very cosy, well equiped and clean with a location at river side, which is very nice and beautiful. The host was very helpful, flexible and prepared for some good advises for activities.

It was picture perfect. Better than the photos. Well setup kitchen. Out door area was perfect to relax in. Location amazing. Restaurants and groceries near by, so close to lake Bohinj and the more spectacular walks a short drive away.

“Beautiful Chalet on an Idyllic River.”

The Hike and Bike Chalet is a stunning property! We were blown away by how beautiful it is - right on the most crystal clear river I have seen. All the rivers and lakes in Slovenia seem to be this clear. This little chalet has a lovely lawn and a patio with furniture. The perfect setting for morning coffee or sipping afternoon beverages while listening to the river and watching the pokey traffic cross the bridge. Idyllic. In the afternoon we watched cows come walking down the road all alone and casually stop to eat the lush grass along the riverside - I guess they knew where they were going - no-one seemed concerned - even the car that patiently followed them until they gave room to pass. It was entertaining. The cute little town area was right across the bridge with a bar/restaurant and a small Mercator as well as the Tourist Information office. We ate at a Gostilna just next door to the chalet (before the bridge) which was casual, good food as is the case with most Gostilnas.

Very comfortable and cozy, we had an amazing stay. Location is perfect and there is a nice restaurant next to the chalet. Hiking trails start literary in front of the place.
