Located beautifully between Lake Bled and the lesser known Lake Bohinj (equally worth a visit). Such a lovely place with a beautiful BBQ area and next to a delightful stream. The Jacuzzi was an added bonus as was the short walk to shops, supermarkets and a company specializing in adrenaline actives such as canyoning and rafting. Would highly recommend.

This property was situated right beside the river which was very beautiful. The spa sits undercover so we could still use it in the rain. The attention to detail and design inside was incredible and lots of thoughtful extra amenities were provided, including bathrobes and an umbrella. The accommodation was super clean and very comfortable. The host allowed us to check out later because it was not busy.

The whole place is beautiful, Amazingly clean, and very peaceful. Private parking space visible from the upstairs window. Automatic and manual privacy screens for using the hot tub and terrace. Bakery across the road for breakfast. Two toilets, one en suite. Hot tub surgically clean and up to temp for our arrival. We have already recommended this to family members.

Great location, close to amenities with easy access to lake Bohinj. Very comfortable lodge with good facilities.

Property is literary on the small river, very cute, for morning meditation & coffee. If you would like to cook, all is there and nice! Location: very close to both lakes Bohinj and Bled - both providing different but excellen feeling. Huge terace with jacuzzi and barbeque, a lot of space for summer time.

We arrived later than expected as we had a long road to do in the dark. They waited us without any issue, which is highly appreciated. The place exceeded any expectations. It was well located, with supermarkets and restaurants close by. The house was super well equipped and honestly we would have preferred to stay at least one night more. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen had everything to cook a meal at home and the gas barbeque was a cherry on top. On top of that there is a jacuzzi on the terrace area and view to the river. The value for money was just amazing.

We loved everything about it - the terrace, the refurbished interior, the cleanliness and the parking spot.

Fantastically clean and great location. Perfect holiday home with fully equipt kitchen (even sharp knives and coffee machine). Hot tub is under cover and well maintained.

Well-designed with great outdoor space which is unusual at most rental properties. The hot tub was great and enjoyed sitting by the riverside, very relaxing. BBQ in the evenings was yummy - and plenty of towels and blankets plus a washing machine, all practical things which made the stay much easier for a family. Location also great close to bakery, ice cream shop and supermarket.

We’ve stayed in dozens of properties all over the world and the Captains Lodge was our favourite. Stunning location, amazing outdoor area, great river view, relaxing hot tub, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, spacious lounge area and a lovely host. Just wish we’d been able to stay longer.

Location is perfect right on the river. Extremely clean, very cosy. Great communication from Natasa and Milan was able to meet us and show us around and give recommendations of places to eat. Outdoor area was perfect for a bbq and spa after being out each day. Car parking free across the road. Very easy to walk to the bakery, shops and places to eat. We loved staying here!

We loved the hot tub and the beds were very comfy. There was lots of spare linens and towels. The hostess was very friendly and kindly left us a bottle of wine. Great corner sofa and well equipped kitchen.
